pls am a guy in my early twenties...still schooling...i have some savings i made b4 getting into d university....Here goes my question.....my mom wants me to buy a plot of land with my money now.....Buh my dad have many plots of land for us and houses too....we are just 4 boys n 3 girls ......my dad is still alive...Me on the other hand...i invest d money into tb and get something from there now....Buh i want to start up d same business my father does in another city with the money after i finish schooling in 2022......so pls is it advicable to go for the land now? when i will still inherit more in future then after i graduate what will i use?

My guy,forget about inheritance in Nigeria and face your future,buy the land.Land appreciates,you can still sell it in future and make more profit if you want to.

buying land for no reason, in Bs area that you dont value, just because its cheap OR because someone tells you to do so (while later having no money to either build on it OR have any saving to do other more interesting investment), is a sure way to waste your money.

Bro my advice for you is to totally eliminate and eradicate that immature and juvenile child-like behavior of waiting for your parents for INHERITANCE. It really kills and diminishes someone if you don't get rid of it.
As regards your mother idea to purchase a land for you, is up to you but I will advice you to learn an online skill such as web development, graphics, social media marketing, content writing etc and rather invest your funds there.
