Ifeanyi Okowa Extends Movement Restriction By Another 14 Days by Kwanza(op): 1:10pm On Apr 14, 2020

Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, has announced the extension of a movement restriction order earlier put in place in the state for another 14 days.
This, according to him, is to further help curb the spread of Coronavirus in the state and country at large.

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday during a nationwide broadcast announced the extension of the lockdown of Lagos, Ogun and FCT to curtail the spread of the virus.

Nigeria so far has 343 cases of Coronavirus and 10 recorded deaths.

Every state they extend! Yet no palliatives for the common man.

most of the northern States are not lockdown, yet they get most of the relieve item, the south on lockdown get little to nothing.

We could remove the lockdown now, and in two weeks be where the US and Spain are now in terms of cases.

And that won't be funny.

The sad thing is that it is affecting people's pockets.

Okowa is not just irresponsible and stupid, but also sick and wicked. There's nothing on ground to cushion the effects of the past 14 days and he has the audacity to open that rat mouth to extend the lock down. No hospital or medical facility to counter the virus, not even 1 in the state. I have never encountered a governor so useless as this guy undecided

What palliative measures is he putting in place. No relief for Delta ,instead of relaxing on the lockdown. How many index cases do they have in delta. What's the percentage tracking success . Are there more new cases weekly. Everybody want to trend.

Waited till the 14th before extension! Stupidd Governor like the rest. A simple move would have been giving people a day or two to restock.
