Ayekotoo:GoT is one of the greatest TV show ever spurned, but there are a handful of TV shows that are better. |

Gmajor:Animation can never be a genre, bruh. It's too versatile for that. |

Color our of space Color out of space is a cosmic horror movie starring Nicholas Cage and a bunch of other nameless actors. The movie follows a family living in a remote farm that begin to experience many strange phenomenon after a meteorite lands on their farm. The movie is visually stunning at times, thanks to the Color Out of Space, but apart from this, I don't think that there is any other thing I liked about this movie. The acting in the movie was atrocious especially from the youngest actress. She didn't deliver single line of believable dialogue through out the whole movie. Everyone in the movie is dumb is fu*k and whenever they are presented with a set of decisions, they always go for the silliest one. I know that making stupid decisions is a very common trope in horror movies, but this movie takes that to a whole new level. The only way their decision process could have made sense is if the "Color out of Space" made the whole family retarded. The logic of the movie is also very inconsistent. The rules that the movie established are very vague and thoroughly confusing and to cap it all The end of the movie is thoroughly unsatisfying. And to make matters worse, for a "horror" movie, Color out of space is not even remotely scary. Color out of space is best described as the incestuous offspring of Annihilation and the Thing that bears similarities to its source of inspiration, but is so hideous deformed. I'll rate it 1.5/10. It's a total waste of time, don't bother watching it. |

"One of the most intriguing upcoming movies is an adaption of Shakespeare's Macbeth play, to be directed by Joel Coen, starring Denzel Washinton and Frances McDormand in the lead roles of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. The project is currently on hold due to the global lockdown".— excerpt from Movieweb. This is another spin on the Macbeth story. Hope this is better and thrilling than other iterations. ![]() |

abduleez1:WTF! What a coincidence!! I watched a live adaptation of Macbeth (1962) last night (I'll take some screenshots of the movie on my TV later). Trust me, even for its age, it captured my soul. This is my third time watching it since last year. But, according to pop culture, the best Macbeth adaptation was the 1974 version. I am not a fan of recent adaptations, though .. They don't capture the same spirit as the former ones. The 1993 version is where Macbeth's best adaptations stopped, for me. Plus I am not a fan of watching old, classic literature in HD; lower definition gives me that nostalgic feeling, especially with that voicing from the 50s/60s. I am a sturdy fan of literature. I have also watched a good number of adaptations. I have some renowned literary works here, at home (both abridged and un-abridged). Othello is also another amazing work of art. Shakespeare was a boss. It's nice that some people are interested in this sort of thing. We are few. Modified: Pic 1 - The three witches. Pic 2 - A shaken Macbeth after the murder of the king, with assistance from the king's wife. Pic 3 - Macbeth becomes king but madness begins to settle in. Pic 4 - Ending scene; Macbeth vs Macduff showdown.

THE BUTLER (2013) Loosely based on a real life story. This movie narrates certain political and social events of the 20th century through the eyes of african american white house butler cecil gaines played by the legendary forest whitaker. Apart from having a star studded cast, this drama is inspiring and filled with class performances |

abduleez1:I digest these works and write reviews on them. I have a special journal for that. Then, I place it on some review sites like GoodReads.com. Let's just call it one of my many hobbies. |

Gmajor:Aah. The movie wasn't so bad now. And not every horror movie depends on gore. The Shining is one of the best horror movies of all time and there is no notable gory scene, as far as I recall. Maybe the movie just wasn't in sync with you. If you check the ratings, it has 86% on Rotten Tomatoes. The box office revenue is about $576K which is a massive loss compared to the $12M budget.. But the plot was good. I feel the movie just didn't sync with a lot of people; hence, it's low box office revenue. I didn't exactly enjoy it either. I know some people that enjoyed it; the movie is not good to everyone. But the plot wasn't terrible. You can't compare it to something like Fantasy Island (courtesy: Tolu121 ). |

abduleez1:The audio track of the last MacBeth film I saw, was in Old King James English. Every time they speak, it gives off a reciting-a-passage-from-KJV-bible vibe. Verily, 'twas a very boring experience. Seeing Joel Coen up there brings me joy. Joel and his brother are satire grandmasters. I've watched every movie they have made, and if there is one thing they are good at, it's making mockery of issues many would term serious, and/or sensitive. I'm also amped seeing Frances McDormand. She's wife to Joel Coen, and has collaborated with the Coen brothers multiple times in the past. I tell ya, she's pretty good at what she does. However, Denzel doesn't inspire similar optimism in me. I feel that he is no longer what he used to be. Part of his onscreen charisma and charm stem from his handsome face, but lately, his face is no longer debonair. Add to that, he isn't funny. I wonder how he will be used in the script...? Well, the Coens know what they are doing. They know best. |

Ishilove:Issue resolved. And yes, it was hot garbage . Actually, it's watch-able for people that just want to see foreigners act a movie. But for someone with taste for quality, it's hot garbage. |
