Our government from the very top to state governors are in the habit of bringing in other security operatives whose job is not to handle civilian matters into direct contact with the civilian population.

Nigeria is not at war down south or facing serious social unrest yet you see army everywhere at checkpoints.

So what does the law say about these untrained idiots called NSCDC? Is it not to safeguard government's installations and cult related activities. Why then are they on the road stopping vehicles?

The governor of the state should be held accountable as well as the NSCDC. Same goes for Okowa in Delta State. The police isn't overstretched that these politicians should fill our roads with untrained barbaric imbecìles that called themselves law enforcement agencies.

Let me state categorically that Nigerian Security officials will always find a way to cover their sins. What are they telling us? There is no way a driver will pass a security agent in a check point speedily, and they can not be telling us that they are not aware that what he was carrying is rice and other consumables. Moreso a good security personal will not f-ire immediately without confirming by at least chasing him with their vehicle. You better prosecute that officer and make him understand his sin with severe punishment

I remember when my father had a medical condition that I had to rush him to the hospital. I didn't stop for nobody. Should the security agencies have assumed I was criminal and shot me dead? What if they shot me dead and I lose control of the vehicle mow down pedestrians and kill more people?

The only time the security forces should shoot at a vehicle is when they have established that the vehicle and its occupants are criminals and must be stopped. To shoot at car just because it did not stop is absolutely reckless
