Redcrafton:Yes oo, Nigeria can never be one. That is why people like us get so angry at Yorubas when we see them propagating one Nigeria and unity-begging just like their father Tinubu is doing. |

Goke7:Which one do you own in Abuja, PH, Kaduna, Jos, Markudi, Warri, Benin and other places. So only can buy in Lodnon and US? I accept the truth. I don't do propaganda like you. So now you have accepted that you lied that Igbos went begging. I can assure you that Igbos are ready to even lose all those if referendum can be agreed, so they can vote. They just don't want your people who are always aggressive to loot their property if the separation comes with force. See what is happening in Lagos. |

Nowenuse:See talk .. Who's Tinubu ?? This is the issue I always have with people like you . Is Gowon not a greater one Nigerianist than Tinubu ?? And Gowon is not even a politician . Tinubu like any other politician from the North, East , South is self serving and would never want to let go of the power one Nigeria has given them. Where are people like Mark , Ekweremadu , GEJ and TY Danjuma in this picture . Aren't they all self serving one Nigerianists. But Tinubu is y'all problem ..Gosh The same Tinubu that struggled to win Ogun and , Osun and Lagos in the last elections . PDP rules Oyo. Ondo and Ekiti are not Tinubu's friends . But hey agenda must agend ![]() Death to One Nigeria !!! |

Portuguese arrived Lagos in 1472 and met Yoruba there. Atlantic slave trade met Yoruba in Lagos in 1612 English fought Ijebu in Lagos from 1849 till they surrendered. You had the option of staying in your region but chose to be a foreigner in another man's backyard and that's what you will remain until you can go and build your own Lagos in your region. forgiveness:Ibadan more cosmopolitan than Jos/Kaduna is a lie from the pit of hell. Even during the regional govt days, Ibadan would not beat Jos/Kaduna in terms of cosmopolitanism. In Jos & Kaduna, before crisis divided the cities along religious lines you have Igbo dominated areas, Hausa dominated areas, Indigenous dominated areas even Igala/Idomas areas & Urhobo areas and everyone lived in peace. The Northern region was more cosmopolitan than the Western region and Kaduna was the capital of the old Northern region, so tell me how Ibadan could beat that? Jos started attracting settlers from all over Nigeria from 1900 when the British needed more and more Tin mining workers. Yorubas came, Igbos came, Hausa fulanis came and Bendelites came. Read this link about the Ogbomosho people in Jos by a Yoruba man and see that they arrived in Jos more than 100 years ago. https://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2012/11/19/the-ogbomoso-people-in-jos/amp/ Urhobo community in Jos is so powerful that u can imagine that the only 2 Urhobo people and Nigerdeltan minorities who have won the Big brother Africa challenge were both born & bred in Jos! Karen Igho's dowry was even paid in Jos. I wonder if that woman and her family even know the road to their village in Delta state ![]() Do u know how many Lebanese, Ethiopians, Indians & Whites call Jos their homecity? D'banj's pretty wife is of SouthAfrican/American heritage but the only city she has ever known or call her hometown is Jos and she is a cousin to this MTVbase co-host below Samantha Walsh. Their entire extended family claim Jos as their hometown. https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn%3AANd9GcSS9Ff38BLAqccVowB-66lKsEqcG4912jVDu_jC9BGRko-1wJXw&usqp=CAU Ibadan will never beat Jos in cosmopolitanism in this life nor in the life to come. The weather and exotic fruits & vegetables in Jos alone is enough to make Jos 50% foreigners by population (all we need to do is promote it). And 2ndly, what do you mean some part of SW formed Abuja? . Are you talking about Abaji LGA that was part of old West-Central (Kwara state)? You see, due to the COWARDICE of you Yorubas, you have never gotten the balls to claim Kwara state and only God knows if u will ever get them. Neither Kwara or old West-Central state was ever part of the SW. Infact, West central state at the time of creation was not even dominantly Yoruba, and I have had this debate here with a Yoruba guy and thrashed him till he ran away. West central state was middlebelt dominated and Yorubas were a minority in that state. That state was made up of the whole Kwara & Kogi combined + Abaji (FCT) and Borgu (Niger state) combined. Even when Igalas, Borgus & Abajis left the state and it became Kwara and Yoruba dominated, minorities were still dominating the Yorubas there! E.g the Ebiras who produced the first elected governor of the new state. Kwara/Kogi Yorubas have always been bitches to the Caliphate & Kwararafan descendants and only God knows when that will end Cc Covidodo, Legendhero, Iamgrey5 |

Covidodo:that is what these dummies are taking advantage of, cross river could not even appoint a judge from a nearby state of origin even though her husband is from cross river, Abia some years back sacked civil servants from other eastern states. How many igbos are patronizing innosson motors but they want every other Nigerian to buy by force. I don tire for our liberal matter for SW and even in workplaces here in Lagos, we see the scheming they do to always get one of their own in position of advantage, when they are doing it, its no tribalism but when we do ours na tribalism and they begin to call us names making the liberals among us to cower. Honestly i don tire |

The Op is using threads like this to console himself because he knows his region has no wealth and at the mercy of two regions and will never be great like Yorubaland. It must be really hard on him to know that Yorubaland makes and breaks him and all his aspirations and the day Yoruba say enough is the day he dies! Finally, the only reason we will continue to see this type of topics is that Yoruba are not protecting their land as it should be. Yorubaland built all the regions of Nigeria except the SS which is also a viable region, the remaining 4 regions are a drag always in need of assistance from the Yorubaland and the Niger delta. These 4 region would have been like states in Somalia if we still have regional govts where they have no access to all the money in Yorubaland. Keep saying what you want right now, when Yoruba get it right, you will be the first to know! |

Covidodo:Hahaha, my brother as long as we all live in this mad Fuji house of commotion called Nigeria together, you think our paths will not cross? Even I thought it would be possible in the past, but hell no! Unless this madhouse is divided, we will continue to step on each other's toes! Just that let us try to be as civilized about it to the best possible way we can, cos none of us have anything to gain by destroying each other. Ese gan ![]() |

Covidodo:Liberal or not...people are ready to sell their lands in Lagos to anyone who has cash.... The developers from the Eastside don't play hide and seek no do tribalism. They invest where they live and not forgetting where they come from. They are not petty nor clannish. they have lion heart and able to share with others. Nowenuse:What do you mean by getting Kwara back ?? Do you mean getting it back into the South West geopolitical zone or what ![]() Kwara state was never in Western region bruv . And it's extremely laughable . Did we lose Kwara ?? You of all people should know the ethnic composition of Kwara state and the folks running things there . From Unilorin to FedPoly Offa and all. I was in Ilorin immediately after my finals to go chill with my friends and it felt like I never left Ibadan . The next time I get my leave , I'd be running down to Ilorin again. My fiancee is from Offa in Kwara and they are even more Yoruba than some of us from the south west . Saraki who was the former kingkong of Ilorin politics migrated from Egbaland in Abeokuta . . AA, the current governor is a full blooded Yoruba man . Same with the late Mohammed Lawal and Fatah Ahmed . So pray tell the non Yorubas running things in Kwara . Abi is there another Kwara I don't know . Infact , Ilorin is even more Yoruba in outlook than Lagos and some parts of Ogun at the moment . The Okuns in Kogi have their own senatorial district and they sure can hold their own in Kogi . Smart Adeyemi and Dino Melaye are definitely 2 of the most popular politicians from Kogi . Yorubas are minority in Kogi and it would be so difficult for Yorubas to dominate that state politically . Why are your Kwararafa people not dominating Kaduna politics ?? Why are the Fulani not dominating Plateau politics ?? I hope you Understand now . Will the minority Ijaw group in Ondo ever dominate Ondo politics ?? What about the minority Egun in Lagos and Ogun ?? Will they ever dominate the politics of those places ?? The answer is NO. We would just keep going round and round in circles and that's boring and unreasonable . PS : The only thing that makes people talk about Ilorin is nothing but the religion. The Benin stool is Ife. The Itshekiri stool is Benin . The Onitsha stool is Benin . The English stool is French . Benin is not Yoruba . Itshekiri is not Benin . Onitsha is not Benin and London doesn't belong to the French . When will Benin people take Benin back. When will Igbo people take Onitsha back . When will Itshekiri people take Escravos back and when will the English people take London back . Shey you get my logic ![]() |

Covidodo:Hahaha, naso this our conversation don pain u reach sotay I don turn your archenemy? For me you are still a Zoogerian brother . And I can't call u my archenemy. And yes, I will not support Igbos to tell lies as much as I have a soft spot for them So Redcrafton, Yorubas actually have much properties & investments in the North & Middlebelt and even in places like Kaduna & to an extent Jos, Yorubas can match Igbos in properties. In Niger state & Kebbi states, Yorubas should outnumber Igbos in presence and properties although through Suleja (Abuja), Igbos could now be matching Yorubas in Niger state. As for the SS. I lived much of my life in Delta/Edo. Yes, Yorubas have properties in both states, especially Edo state, but it cannot be compared to that of Kaduna/Jos. However, Igbos in general have 10 or 20x more properties than Yorubas in the entire North & SS combined. That's the reason why some people think Igbos can never seccede. |

Nowenuse:you still dey this matter? a city with the first university, first university teaching hospital, first tv station and so many other firsts. A city with the highest number of research institutes, Honestly history that was removed from our curriculum has done so much damage. brown roof pictures on nairaland has done great damage. Jos is a microcosm of Ibadan, so many non yoruba elites settled there and even died there. In the hey days of UCH, people traveled all over the word to visit the hospital for treatment and a popular american artiste i cannot remember was born in uch. if na number of whites be your problem, there are lots of lebanese, indians, dutch and many other foreigners living in Ibadan because of the huge agriculture investments in Oyo state from where a lot of raw materials are gotten for industries in Lagos and other places. The great University of Ibadan is another major factor for the cosmopolitan nature over the years. Ibadan is underrated because states govts like Oyo are too laid back in projecting the state. ajimobi tried but Oyo state has not been too lucky like Lagos and Ogun in having very dynamic leaders. The last they had was Bola Ige. argue with your keyboard but after Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan and ph should be dragging third in terms of being cosmopolitan just that the yorubas in Ibadan are just a different breed from the ones in Lagos who can use their mouth to abuse any body father cos they no get respect for crazy dudes and won't take rubbish like the Lagos people take from settlers |
