I agree with your post. Is this our "travel abroad " mentality that have made SA to be treating us like trash. Develop your country.. Don't run away from the problem because whenever you come back, you'll still face it. Britons developed Britain. Chinese developed china, we have to develop this country o.. Even if it cost us our lives.
Seconded. We share the same passion.

*With as low as a thousand naira, you can learn a skill that will benefit you a lifetime. Statistical analysis is a skill that is indispensable in every tertiary institution & acquiring the skill does not only put you ahead of others, but fetches extra income as it is a well sought out skill.*

We are actually running the training to help students especially undergraduate students in their penultimate and final year, and postgraduate students.

You can benefit by not only acquiring an invaluable skill for yourself alone but can also make some extra money from colleagues who don't have the skill.

Single statistical analysis of project may cost students btw 5-20k depending on location and volume of work done.

The packages have been splitted to allow all categories benefit.

wait, after the corona, flee this country. You can do your MSC in Germany, its free . goto travel section and look for German thread.
Who told you that MSc in Germany is free? If it’s scholarship, that’s different but for the record, MSc is Germany is not free.

How about you do yours master outside Nigeria, a course in IT information technology, maybe data science
Because if you observe now with what is happen a lot of IT jobs will come out after this pandemic so you can reconsider..... leaving Nigeria is the ultimate goal , after all thought pray about it and get direction from God

First learn a skill(plumbing , welding, barbing, hair dressing ) or any other high demand skills.. then go for your masters in Canada , Australia or Germany.. no matter how bad it is you can get your masters and get some income through your skills , this income can pile up and you putting for your PhD or other coarse and continue working and learning , I can tell you for a fact you would be better off than bumping into business in Nigeria without previous experience
This is one of the best ideas here. Op,please adhere to this guy.

8m is much for masters, with 2m you are done with masters depending on the school immediately after MSc go for your PhD,sometimes the business might fall, what will you use to pay your workers? some of those people that their shop got burnt at Ochanja market they have not recovered any thing till now, that's business.
There are many opportunity in the education sector, August last year my school recruit 400 staff.
If you insist on starting a business you better meet someone that studied business management for proper advice.

If everybody borrowed this thought process, your school wouldn't even be existing.

You can do your masters while running a business but building a business from scratch requires a huge personal commitment and will take time for you to get to break even, also you might make some mistakes if you are lacking in experience in the industry or niche you chose. You can maybe invest in an already established small scale business looking for capital to scale their business operations, here your chances of success is higher and you get to break even faster. If you are knowledgeable, you can invest in foreign REITS for high dividend income though many people will say that now is not the best time to invest in REITS because of the economic meltdown caused by covid 19 but now is the best time because many high quality enterprises with sound financial health will have their share prices beatdown way below their intrinsic value due to panic selling. Please I do not recommend playing in the financial market if you have no knowledge of what you are doing, better to consult your financial adviser, I am not licensed to give investment advice but for educational purposes I can offer valuable insights but bear in mind that past performance does not guarantee future outcome.

Hello everybody on this thread! Almost 85% of advices you have given this guy are not useful. Why? Because those advices cannot make one famous and be on the Forbes List; advices like, go for your Masters and PhD programs, go for your Masters in abroad, don't do business in Nigeria, et al. My dear brothers and sisters on this thread, can Bsc/HND and PGD, Msc, PhD take or erase poverty away from someone's life? These educational degrees cannot because what is being taught in School are only theories that are not useful in the business world. W are in life for two things; to serve God and to do business. Even Jesus Christ engage himself in carpentry work before he started preaching the word of God and also Prophet Mohameed(SAW) was a Cattle Rearer during his lifetime. Business is the way to go in life. Do you know Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija( the richest blackwoman in the world) because she's good in solving mathematics or mathematical equations? You know her by her company "Famfa Oil", an indigeneous Oil Company in Nigeria. Also, do you know Alhaji Aliko Dangote (the richest blackman in the world) by solving quadratc equations? You kow him by owning one of the largest conglomerates in Africa "Dangote Group". So my brother, engage yourself in business that have passion for. That's it.

What course did u study?
What are you inclined towards.
Being a pilot is good, I don't know how much it costs and the different stages b4 u can be certified to man a plane.
I would have advised u go into business but it has to be a dream and passion within u to run a business and that is why I asked the second question above
If u have more money than the 8m, u can go for pilot cos they are well paid but find out from pilot to guide u of the terrain in the industry. There is a pilot school in kwaara state I think. U may go for additional course overseas.
U can always do a business and do Msc.
I did MBA (Saturday only and it's a 2 year program all things being equal).
May be u invest like 6.5M in secured investment while u use 1M to start a business after much enquires.
Once ur business picks, u can go for ur MBA.
U can learn a skill ( not classroom/ office skill).

Pls which school did you do your MBA that offer courses only on saturday.. I will be glad to get a nice reply soon. Thanks

I will advise to go for masters in Germany or Ireland because it won't cost you up too 8m and find your fit over there, go to Germany thread for better understanding.
Nigeria presently is not viable for SME cos of the economy and the government we have. the money will just finish up so fast.
Been an aviator is good but the money on ground can't take you more then PPL. To become a pilot you will have roughly 20m.
