Nigeria recorded its first case of coronavirus on the 25th of February, 2020 and as at the time of this write up, Nigeria has over 500 confimed cases. The Federal govertment had to lock down some states, namely Abuja, Lagos and Ogun states so as to contain the virus. Some State Governors too locked up their states while some others established curfew in their states.

Here are 5 reasons why we feel coronavirus may no leave sooner than we expect..

1. Many Nigerians who came in contact with index cases are on the run
2. Many Nigerians are not observing social distancing
3. The lockdown has had a negative effect on the citizens because the government is finding it hard to provide food for many.
4. Robbery has been on the rise, most especially in Lagos because people are finding it hard to survive.
5. Many still believe the virus is a myth and does not exist.

Coronavirus is real, please always wash your hands and observe social distancing, together we can defeat this.

The virus will never leave, it will definitely be added to list of curable diseases like flu and all that.

Exactly.... like measles, malaria and co....

I don't even care about the virus. What I am praying for is the vaccine and the drug. Corona can stay like HIV.
