Great. File compression require technical skills. But many of the web designers around don't know how to work their way around it.

Adapt the Size of Your Images to Their Container
A common mistake is to place images that are too big for their container and then size them down with some CSS.
Do not make this common mistake! Adapt your images to their container.

>> Avoid using an image that is 2500 px by 3800 px in a 500 px by 500 px <div>, and force it to be resized in CSS. The larger the image, the bigger the file, and the longer it takes for a browser to download. It's important to resize images before uploading them to your website.

>> You can also crop the image to remove unwanted parts and further reduce its size.

>> Don’t forget responsive design. Remember to use images with sufficient resolution as screens now have better resolution.

I find the point with speeding up the website the most important. Many people who access an website and it’s loading slow the first thing that pop up in their head is that their internet is slow or something is wrong with their computer. Then in fact the problem is in actual website which they’re accessing. I thought the same as the majority of people till I started to work for a digital marketing agency. If you ask me what I know about SEO? Well, the stuff which you mentioned are far from what I was doing. I know some general ideas and information about each point, but never dig deeper into the technical part. I’ll follow the thread to see if more useful information will appear.
