Buhari should lift the lockdown and let people die by choice. By the time you bury your parents and children nobody will tell u before u enter house and lock door
People with nothing are trapped.... they'll still die of hunger

1 month extension should be in order.

So many people wont be able to access medical care, cos of restrictions, basic things are scarce, no forget, hunger, depression and sadness kills, criminality and violence too will rise. Nigerian oil wont sell, even locally, government need funds to pay police, army etc...have you heard of the 'vicious circle' We need to be smart, this Coro is not a death sentence, and people can wear masks and gloves.
Corona kills about only 2/20 people it infects, we have other things that kill people too, lets not be too scared, with time our system will resist its potency gradually.

stop comparing USA with Naija. Naija may relax it if all including the govt can cooperate. Take it or leave it, things can't return to normal for now. I can see many job loss, many business folding...... Let's just start planning to go back to the farmer. The occupation given to us by God
The farm that the Fulani heads men ve taken over!

Partial lifting of the lock down will do this nation good because people are dying of hunger, most don't even have money to buy food even when lock down is lifted..I think lockdown should be lifted and everyone made to wear their PPE's..Strict enforcement on wearing of PPE should be enforced and those who go against that be arrested..
u shouting arrest are the same to complaining bout police brutality. If u think it's easy to do that create WhatsApp group n tell dem not to post rubbish .

The last time there was a war in Nigeria, over 70percent of her population were not born na. You must appreciate that this shutting down of the country is a whole new experience for most of us. Coupled with that we come get a bunch of grossly irresponsible people in government.

Never assume the worst. No hell will be let loose if govt extends the lockdown. Humans are selfish and would always want what's best for him/her. Govt on the other hand wants what's best for all. People are hungry, I get it, but trust me, no one wants to put himself at a disadvantage position with govt.
Govt is hit the hardest with the lockdown.
With no vaccine against COVID-19, human race is on the brink of extinction. Extreme situation requires extreme measures. I support any measure by govt to curb the spread. This is the only option available to us.
Human has a tendency to adjust and adapt to any situation. After God is govt.

I agree that being alive is prerequisite for living but the pulse from the street signifies hunger and restlessness. I don't know...?

Ozor333, from all indications and figures available to us, the pandemic is not leaving us soon and that means we are in for at least 3 months of lockdon except a cure(vaccine) is found.

so what should people eat, or we should just stay indoor without food The government are foolish, if they are not, they will do necessary things that will make people stay indoor. You can provide food and money to people and they won't stay indoor.

How many war have you experienced?

It's not about the lockdown, it's about the useless government we have. You keep people on lockdown without support for the citizens, but few selected people you call poor in a particular part of the country.

You didn't see the rise in robbery in the last 2 weeks? How will another 2 weeks looks? It's about common sense.

Whether we like it or not, this thing is not going down any time soon, we have to learn how to live with it in African way.

Ignorantly some people are clamouring for ending lockdown..

When death knock all of you... same us will still blame the government for not protecting the citizens.

In as much as confirm cases keep rising FG has no option than to lockdown.

Hunger is better than... excruciating pain which will end in death

the lockdown is not working

government is not sincere & doesn't care for Nigerians at all

lockdown is close to 4weeks, how many people have been tested so far?

in what way has this government assist Nigerians with relieve materials?

Despite lockdown, people still moves from one state to the other

Government can't lock down people further more else unimaginable will happen

Nigerians are suffering with hunger, it's preventable if government is serious but it's unfortunate that this cursed government we have in Nigeria still stole money meant for testing people & treating people for covid 19

Lockdown is not working

major reason why the lockdown isn't working is that we are not on lockdown. we still have heavy traffic on the street, market are still filled with people. the ones really on lockdown are just suffering themselves cos majority are still going about their daily routine .

you and allthingsgood are just talking anyhow. I doubt you've ever experienced hunger. I'm not talking about when you would have money but just decided to starve yourself, it is fvcking different. If you're super rich to feed your family for the next few months, it doesn't mean it is the same with everyone. You talking of war, why not talk about the aftermath of the hunger during the war? Some of you who are lucky to have enough really don't appreciate it.

And why government can't give palliatives to everyone? If we're talking about vulnerable ones, it is just all the poor. Why? The youth who have energy to work can't work, hence they can't feed themselves and their families. Are they not vulnerable like that? Please let's be considrate.

NLC should go and sit down, if the pandemic gets out of hand ,they will still be the one calling government out. The only way to curb the spread is by lockdown until great number of people esp in affected states are tested. Hunger will not do its worst. God will still make a way for the poor to survive.

Some ppl here think bcuz dey come from wealthy families they're safe...if God want to punish u dey shud extend d lockdown for a whole month...then you'll remember that airports are locked n u can't even runaway.
Are u trying to put a pandemic (3% fatality) over a relapse in an already poor economy? Are u mad?

This is an emergency not a public holiday. If u choose to go out then go out u will be infected. And then come back and infect your whole family. Choice is yours
