With the lockdown cases are still arising.
If I was in the hem of affairs in the country this would be my suggestions;

1. No interstate movement.
2. Wear facemask or die by fire. (North Korean style)
3. Before you can open your business, you must get tested.
4. Schools cant open for now.
If I were.

1. The danger of COVID-19 becoming widespread still lurking as daily tests reveal more cases especially in Lagos State.

2. However, in the face of insufficient government palliatives , any attempt to extend the presidential lockdown will be ill-advised because people are now merely hanging in there and waiting agonizingly for midnight of Monday 27 April. Hell will be let loose if extension happens.

3. Given the basic nature of our economy, it might be dangerous for businesses to have too long a downtime as government may not be able to give massive stimulus.

It is catch-22 situation but times like these are why people stood in the sun to vote for some people.

Hunger son dey catch union o. Free money no longer flowing from the streets

World Health Organization that the United States has plans to financially cripple and strangulate.

In fact, the WHO will not smell a penny of the American dollars according to Trump.

You are here encouraging federal and state government to extend the lockdown.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria economy is in a bad state following the coronavirus outbreak.

THERE IS HUNGER IN THE LAND

With pressure from NLC and the people, govt will work on that problem, foods can easily be shared or bought online and deliver to their doorsteps, u want to take ur chances outside, no problem go ahead, but remember this, you won’t be able to eat that food when you are sick, struggling for breath in terrible pains, think about your family too, ur “chances” may also bring the end of them, even with the best treatment given to Kyari he still died, what’s the probability that u will be given half of such treatment, we have unqualified doctors and not enough qualified ones, do you think u will be given adequate attention wen thousands of people begin to fall sick? Don’t compare Nigeria to the US, they have one of the best health sector, if Nigeria case is half as theirs then we are finished.

There’s a solution to hunger, govt can work on it easily,

Which government?.. This inept government?.. This toothless government?.. There is lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja.. You government shared more palliatives to kastina indigene.. I will rather take my chances outside than belive in this government

Leave these fools alone

It is in Nigeria ull see DAT common sense isn't common

These people don't understand the danger lying ahead if this lock down continues beyond this month... The revolution and upsurge of nefarious crimes due to desperation and hunger will be of epic proportions.... That is the real time bomb, not some imported virus!!!

Lagos, Ogun, and some other parts have merely gotten a tiny taste of what I am foretelling... When the "Bomb" detonates, then they will understand that security is almost nonexistent in this nation... They better be ready to defend themselves with their lives.

Lol. The cure is worse than the disease.

Moreover the virus doesn't spread in hot regions.

Bro no dey talk nonsense about weather or hotness of regions, compare Dubai to Lagos, sharjah to Abuja

This virus kills more in hotter regions of the middle eastern part of the world, go read your weather forecast well

Extension of this lock down beyond what we currently have will not mean well for Nigeria and Nigerians anymore. The way forward is strict enforcement of face mask, social distancing and hand sanitising. Further closure of land and air borders. Identification of proper face mask that can be effective against SARS-COV2 because many people are now wearing all sorts of hand made face mask that might not have been tested to work against covid-19 transmission. Discouragement of unnecessary social gathering. taking air samples of public places for lab test to identify whether there's presence sars-cov2 in it and other measures that might be appropriate.

I am in total support of your recommendations

Face reality dear friend...

We are already past all these!!! It might already be too late.

Your leaders will NOT do a damn thing about making lock down easier and effective for all... I sense it is even economically unfeasible to cater for such massive needs!!!

At this point, this nation is surviving solely at the feet of providence... Further lock down will only drive the country into more crimes, civil unrest, and anarchy!!!

Don't cause unnecessary panic. I don't support long-term lockdown either. NIGERIA economy can not withstand current economy guatanamo.

What should be done in my opinion is schools should be locked down for months but businesses should reopen with strict social distancing and mandatory face masks.

This COVID-19 should teach govt lessons to pay attention to their people and their economic conditions rather passing stupid economy budgets not felt by average people, and flying out of the country for every single medical treatment.

Reopen economy, period.

Corona is not a death sentence. 99 percent of people who have it recover. Look at the number of critical cases and judge for yourself.

Stay home and complain from there ok

You need to feel the pulse of the street to know that people can't be indoors hungry for long.

I’m not denying that, I’m saying calling off the lockdown will only bring a bigger problem which this country DOES NOT HAVE THE CAPACITY to handle. The best solution is for the lockdown to remain and for us NIgerians to look after those who cannot feed themselves.

NLC is mad, they're right on the relieving the lockdown but what preventive measures do they want FG to adopt?

you see why we are still having less cases wasn't only because people haven't tested in mass but because we haven't developed community contact as it was in foreign countries

any community contact with everybody going to their normal daily activities might speak doom for the citizens. the best approach is to distribute palliatives genuinely to everyone in the affected states in the country then shut down this states for a week and you will see how this will come to an end
With the 3 states shut down and palliatives distributed how did they perform. What makes u think they will do it right this time. Fool me once , shame on you , fool me twice......

It has less than 1 percent death rate. Malaria kills more than corona. Police kill more also accidents kill more but we don't panic cos of these. Most people that die have underlying illness 99 percent of the time.
