It depends on your area. You go to some area, a network is the best around while others are rubbish and you move to another and the best in previous becomes the worst but I think generally in my own order, it would:

Etisalat (Most expensive)

Airtel

Glo

It depends on the area you are... For example glo network is fast out here while mtn is kinda slow !

After midnight, I can download a 100 mb movie within 2 minutes, but it will take 1 hour to download the same movie in the day time.

I also have Airtel line, and it is a bit faster than my Glo, but they zap data like crazy. Sometimes, they don't even warn you before your data finishes... You can have 400mb one minute, and the next, you get message you don't have data again.

I don't know how Etisalat and MTN are. Guys, which Network do you think I should go for? I really need fast internet connection cos of what I do on Instagram... Using Instagram with my Glo can be so frustrating. Sometimes I feel like throwing the Sim away, but they give some really good bonuses when you recharge a lot.

MTN is the fastest. I do download 1GB movie in 11 minutes in Warri. Their streaming service on Netflix na blast, no buffering whatsoever. But dem dey zap data like mad. Just do 20GB for #3500 and have rest of mind. Or do 2days plan of 2.5GB for #500 if you want to download something real quick.

network strength varies by area. densely populated area get better attention because if is profitable to providers. just experiment and see which is best in your vicinity then go with that.

Far from the truth.
Densely populated areas such as Ajegunle,Mushin Sàngó Isolo And other areas alike USUALLY GET POOR QUALITY SERVICES,their purchasing power is not as high as those in Ikeja, Ọmọle,VI, Ikoyi And other elitist areas.
Your ₦200 recharge in those areas can't equal the Cost of recharge in those areas.
You don't expect someone that pays as minimum of ₦15k in a month on data alone to have same internet speed as someone that pays ₦1k

MTN. Just Mtn 3G is better than glo and airtel 4G. It rarely has network issues. But expensive than the rest, no freebies.

My Glo 3G is like 4G. I don't bother to switch my phone to 4G because Glo 3G is fucking fast. I dropped MTN because of glo. MTN 4G is fucking frustrating.

it has to do with where you lives on band. glo 4g is super fast iny area and I do download up to 1gb within 1minute(not kidding)

Hardly 3 people mentioned etisalat... Too bad despite being expensive

I have been downloading this episode of money heist since around 5:30. The first time around, the download was almost complete and it failed after like 45 minutes. I tire for this line.

Why don't you download at night, using night plan?/its cheaper and glo gives 1GB for 100 naira, five nights validity, meaning you can roll it over if you don't exhaust it.

I used MTN and Globacom before the lockdown, but Globacom improved and mtn depreciated in my area in terms of speed

It's depends on location but to me Airtel 4g is superb in my location... Glo 4g is fair too i get 3.5mb/s at times mostly at night here... But airtel... I get up to 6mb/sec

Airtel by far has the fastest internet connection and even a faster data sucking rate.
