The Deputy Coordinator of Kano State COVID-19 Response Team, Dr. Sabitu Shuaibu, Saturday dismissed reports that the state recorded 640 deaths in two days. Kano, the commercial capital of Northern Nigeria, has reportedly been rocked by mysterious deaths in the last few days. Shuaibu, who appeared on Channels TV, said the figure was recorded in the last one week and not in two days as insinuated by some persons on social media.
