This is more serious than a war, because we fight an unknown enemy who knows no compassion and doesn't regard any age.
I feel we do not know the havoc this pendemic is capable of causing our fragile Nigeria.
I understand that fact that the government is not doing enough, but I think we do not have a choice but to extend this lockdown.
It is better to sacrifice economy and be sure of human safety.
PLS STAY HOME!

oga you are not hungry yet, you still have some thing to eat .

when you are famished, you will choose coro over hunger. tell your government to do the needful if they want to enforce stay at home.

the rich are afraid of coro more than hunger while the poor are afraid of hunger more than coro.

coro is outside the home and hunger is at home. now finish the analysis.

You will agree with me that they are two pandemic at hand.

I guess the lack of test kit they keep complaining is the issue, after series of treatment, the patients will be tested and retested to be sure he or she beat the virus twice within a space of one week of testing negative.
You guessed right. But what I don't understand and one is yet to tell us something about it is that of those ones discharged, those it mean they are now immune to the virus, they can't ever catch it again cuz if they still have to protect themselves after being discharged, then we are going no where. We are just wasting money and resources. Please can you tell me what you know or guess something? Thanks

Yes you're right now and the person you quoted was also right cuz lockdown seems not working but I'd better day it won't solve the problem. Good number of people lives well in UK compare to 9ja, and upon that they all are getting stimulus from the government for locking them down, same not happen here. BETTER KILLED BY VIRUS TO KILLED BY HUNGER

God forbids it but if you go out now to get the food and in the process get the virus, you have put yourself and and your family in pain. That is whe you will cry "had i known" and that is a very bad cry. A very very bad cry.

i think FG should concentrate more on Lagos , there should be total lockdown both seaport and airport would be shut down immediately and test should be carried out from all local government one after the other but the money FG is making is more important the life of the lagosian
There re essential goods that come in mostly through the ports, so you can't really shut down both ports.

Those ones that recovered are not immune to the virus, they get reinfected if they are exposed again that is if they come in contact with an infected person or with the virus without doing the necessary things to prevent the virus from getting into them, then they become a new case, as at the time being there is no research result that has told us that those treated are immune to the virus. So it is.more like a cycle or a chain.

Well, a credible poll should solve this. Social scientists should be doing such online.

To know how many are willing to risk Covid-19 because of hunger and have lock down removed.

People in villages seem unperturbed. They can still feed from the land. Herdsmen permitting of course.

I think I should lecture you few things you don't know about this covid 19. Please read on this forum about an epidemiologist sacked by state government in ibom state. Try to understand why he was sacked. That enough should give you an insight and deep knowledge about this virus but make sure your level of comprehension strong ooo so you get the message right. Good number of Nigerians had being infected and recovered without them knowing such process took place in them bodies. The virus is not as fearful as government made us to believe it. It simply bcuz they wanna make some more money on us. It's games and jokes please trust me.

Shame on Nigeria Government. Ghana has more reported cases than we do and they have only recorded just 10 deaths, and with less number we already have 40 deaths. What is government of Ghana doing to save their people that we can just copy and save more lives?

We can’t even be sure of the numbers being reported daily anymore because Nigeria government can never be trusted. Everything in Nigeria is politics. They should tell us where these people are being buried. Show us pictures of them at the isolation centre. We were told GTB built a centre with 100 bed capacity. What’s the capacity of the centre built by CACOVID-19?

Ever since they started testing with China Kits, the numbers have been growing exponentially. UK stopped using China kits, all of a sudden, their numbers started coming down, same across Europe. China wants to cripple us and our economy so that they can take over governance in Nigeria, yet stupid Buhari can’t read in between lines!

It is alright! APC government has sold Nigeria to China. You will all regret your actions and inactions in Jesus name.

Study shows NCDC are liars the total number of cases is more than the one stated above, don't be surprised that there are over 3000 cases. The rate will discharged shows either the patients discharged are not suffering from COVID -19

The figure is certainly more than that. If we add Kano for the last five days, we would know that this is already out of control.
Lifting the lockdown at this stage is like Government saying 'we are tired, every man for himself'. I know every soul shall taste death but it is more painful when people are dying of preventable deaths.

The Doctors from China what is their motive of coming here because it is not as if they are treating people with symptoms or assisting our Doctors with testing...I am curious as to what they are doing in Nigeria presently

It has been said repeatedly that they came for their own, the CCECC. They are willing to offer help if called upon; however you people said you do not want them. You questioned and doubted their genuine intent to help. You said your doctors are quite capable and competent enough with sufficient personnel, and therefore no need for them. So, what should they do?

We carried out just 10,918 tests. And we have 1273 cases. Note that majority of the tests carried out are for the rich and symptomatic. It is very sad news. Ghana has carried out over 100,000 tests.

They didn't tested.

In my state the government is busy supressing the testing in order to appear clean before the public, yet we know people who has already died of this disease who the government has refused to make it public.

I observe your comment with kin interest. I remember when America was less than 2,000 cases a few weeks ago. Also have you thought of their health care system which is about 30years ahead of us if not more?

With this report and our careless ways, we are in a much worse situation.

alizma:

With this report, we are still in a better position than US. US has one position case in every 5people tested while Nigeria has less than 2,000 positive in 10,000 test carried out. But it is not a time to celebrate yet. God help us
