The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has described President Muhammadu Buhari as a “shy person” who dislikes public show.

Amaechi made the remark while disclosing why Buhari has not commissioned Itakpe-Warri rail line after it was completed.

He spoke during an interview with Dele Momodu, Publisher of Ovation Magazine.

According to Amaechi: “Now the project is ready for Commissioning but because of Coronavirus everything is on hold.

“And you know the President is a shy person. He doesn’t like public show.

“What he said is that let’s just focus on our achievements and by the time we leave office people will see what we have done but some of us are insisting that we commission some of our projects. We have decided to name it after former President Goodluck Jonathan.

A shy person should never lead a country like Nigeria.. Apart from been shy.. He is docile, taciturn, aloof and slow. My problem is that eve. The bold and brave politicians in the country are aggressive and wicked ẹ. g. Wike, yahaya and ortom.. Nigerians need someone who is diplomatic, intelligent and discerning. However, will Nigerians vote for such individual?.. The answer is no?.. They prefer people who share kerosene, food and Dole out cash. We deserve our leaders!!

Shyness is a common character of all deaf and dull people. They know they know nothing, hence their display of shyness when called upon to display intellectualism.
A person that can't even write his name without an assistance or who can't even differentiate between the living and the death when making appointments should truly be shy.
Any other reason given by his minister is just a cover up.
