Hi nairalanders, I met this relative of my patient who I went to see on the ward today and she explained what has been going on with her daughter to me and asked for help. The said girl is so traumatized now. She was caught by her mother while another girl of her age was fingering her on her request. She explained further that the said guy is the son of her parents landlord. Please who knows any agency that can help in oyo state, because I am new here. Cc; lalasticlala, Seun, Dominique.

I don't know about the necessary office to report such matters to in Oyo state. Have you tried checking online or get to the Oyo state ministry of women affairs for more information.

You don’t need to have proof to say something when you hear or see something. What the OP needs and should do is to either report or steer the patient to the right organisations that deal with rape cases. Those organisations will then follow the due process or let the process play out wether the rape occurred or not. Not all alleged victims know how to start the process, so let OP ask if anybody on NL knows the process in OYO state.

No one should ever mind their business or look the other way when they hear of a sexual assault or rape.

I am presently treating a patient who was admitted about 4 days ago, the mother of the girl in question came to visit the patient and decided to bring her along. Even though they were not allowed into the ward they waylaid me on my way out and I thought it was about their relative on the sick bed. I gave her audience and when she told me the reason why she accosted me I took her to my office, heard the whole story and thereafter examined girl and I discovered that she has been seriously abused. I thereafter referred them to mental health for further care and promised to help because she explained that the guy responsible is the son of their landlord where the little girl resides. So are you saying the poor girl is lying or the guy in question is the only person living in that house? You are a fvking bastard and not worthy of dwelling among human. You ilk deserve to die horribly for being so quick to defend evil.

For the records I’m not against you helping them out. I asked you if you have evidence that the girl was really sexually abused by the said dude and you said you examined her (I dunno if it was medical or oral) and found out that she was indeed abused.

Always be sure before reporting people because a lot of innocent dudes have been accused of rape and the rest. Shalom.

Maybe you have to inform the brother of the Uncle of the patience relative so that they will get to talk to the landlord through the elder brothers in law and also bring in the girl that fingered her on her request.
As for the son of the landlord to the parents of the relative to the patients, I don't even know was his own crime was, op I still can't understanding what I just read, I even need someone to explain to me what I just wrote. Maybe it's time to sleep.

I saw where the op said a fellow girl fingered the girl. So it seems like 2 people were involved in the molestation.
