The hypocrisy of this lifeless administration is unimaginable.... These same thieves were so to quick seek for $500 million loan (which will end up in their personal accounts) to resurrect an already dead and buried NTA, but here they are "considering" an upward review of N500 billion intervention fund. Cows. |

We are just deceiving ourselves. Nigeria is ill equipped to handle this magnitude of crisis, be it financially or with respect to our medical infrastructure. Imagine for a second the devastation it has caused in first world countries and think about how much worse it could do to us. A one trillion stimulus would still be a drop in the ocean, especially in the face of gross administrative incompetence from the federal down to the local government levels. All these shouldn't be the case but we blew our chances of building duffers over the years and now we'd get screwed real hard up our brown eyes by this virus. Brace yourselves fellow countrymen, what we are seeing today is just the tip of the iceberg. Do not engage in frivolous spending in the foreseeable future. The full impact of the crisis will be felt when this penetrates the rural areas with a great number of vulnerable and aged folks and a near total absence of potable water, medical facilities and good sanitation. |
