Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation today, Monday, April 27, 2020 at 8pm, making it his third official broadcast since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

This was made known in a statement by Mr Femi Adesina, special adviser to the president on media and publicity.

Reacting to the update, Actor Cum Politician, Yul Edochie implored the president to speak to Nigerians from his heart as opposed to reading a speech.

He wrote;

“Dear President @MBuhari drop paper.
Don’t read speech today.
Speak to Nigerians from your heart.”

Yul Edochie, please allow the president to give his speech whether written or not as that doesn't breach the constitution. Written or not, the president's speech has stamp of executive authority with historic significance embedded therein.

You run for governorship once and failed and I didn't hear any ground-shaking speech from you during your campaign then. Be humble.
