Please I want to ask. Can one claim NCE (3years) and B.Sc. two certificates for my partner?
tunlapapa:

OND & HND = two certificates.
Additional certificate will add no points unless you have a Master's certificate.

Did you use the NCE to gain admission for the BSc?

Also, how many years is your BSc?

The B.Sc is 4years.

It will count alongside the NCE as two or more certificates.

Hi guys, a ku lockdown o!

Just a feedback to the house, as a fall out of an enquiry I made in part 8.

I assisted a friend with his ECA and can confirm that WES evaluates Certificate in Insurance as equivalent to a one-year College-level certificate.

See below screenshot FYI.

As a matter of fact, it wont be a bad idea.

The only area of concern now is as to whether the scores will come down or not.

That’s the headache attached though, but I think the first FSW draw should be in the 460s base on the present CRS distribution.

Hello, I don't know much about the program itself. However, you can get all the information you need on CIIN's website.

Cheers...

Hello People, With this Covid 19, nobody knows how the next draws will look like. I am interested in writing the TEF exams. I have just one year experience and i am a lawyer. I want to use this french exam to boost my score.

I need the assistance of someone to personally explain the following grey areas;
1) the cost of registration
2) the relevant materials to read
3) the time frame needed to prepare for the exam especially for someone without a french background.

NOTE: I have read through the other thread on TEF but it is not clear. I need a personal explanation.

Thanks and May God protect us all during this perilous time

grin thank you very much for the kind words. We are still active, not for our personal gains but because we care about our people. We want them to have a better alternative and a quality one at that when it comes to the BCS tutorials. I am glad your experience with us is one you cannot forget.

And in your referrals, kindly let people know that May 1st is when we commence tutorials. My profile has more details. smiley

Pls how long does it take for the result to be out? I wrote mine in March. And as per the WES, does that one take time too? I mean WES for the BCS

Results will be out in July. After which you may proceed with your evaluation. Give or take, you should have the result of that in September.

Hello, good day. Trust you're doing well. Please, this BCS exam, was it the diploma in IT or the certificate in IT that you wrote ? Just searched for it on google and I'm a bit confused here. Thinking of writing it to boost my score as well.

Hi Thelma. The certificate is the foundational course which suffices for the purpose of CRS points boosting. Kindly check my profile for more details on how we can be of help.

Hw possible it is in the future if I want to take my family. I have married, i want to enter express entry pool but POf will be my constraints for family of 5. I decided to enter the pool alone because of little amount I have as POF can only cover me. I'm dilemma, I need somebody to put me through what I can do to succeed with the processing

The answers to ALL these questions have been covered repeatedly on the last 10 to 15 pages of the TEF thread.

Whether your family accompanies you or not, your POF needs to cover the whole family of 5.

I got a reply from WES after enquiring from them how my institution can send my transcripts to them electronically and they told me to get my school to ask them that themselves via the "contact us" on their site. Apparently, they only want to communicate with the school directly and they expect the school to establish communication first. Anyways, my school refused and insisted WES must contact them first. I taya for their matter.

I'm going to predict between 467-469. Based on the chart from the last draw, there were less than 3900 candidates above 470 and they took out candidates from that chart the last time. Should there be a general draw anytime soon, the score will hover around the late 460s. And certainly, a general draw right now would take more FSW applicants because the majority of high scoring CEC candidates left the pool already.

I don't think a draw would happen today. It's highly likely that the next draw (next week) would be a general one though, because I believe the CRS threshold for CEC are now pretty low. They can't keep ignoring quality all in the name of favouring the inland applicants. Leaving someone with 480 to pick someone with 445 might not exactly add the value they seek to their economy.

So because you've a CRS of 480, you think the job market will favour you over someone with Canadian education and experience ? Funny undecided

Also, wetin concern CRS with value add? Many people don't even work in their fields upon landing, while many go back to school... anyone can add value, no be CRS matter... so those who got ITA with less than 420 in the past no be quality ? undecided

We pray that CIC does general draw but this your line of thought no follow..sorry.

CEC have Canadian experience whether crs is 400 or not. They would get jobs faster than most outlands with 480 crs. They are more valuable
