So because you've a CRS of 480, you think the job market will favour you over someone with Canadian education and experience ? Funny undecided

Also, wetin concern CRS with value add? Many people don't even work in their fields upon landing, while many go back to school... anyone can add value, no be CRS matter... so those who got ITA with less than 420 in the past no be quality ? undecided

We pray that CIC does general draw but this your line of thought no follow..sorry.
At the bolded, this isn't about doing what favours me. Rather, it's about what supports the country's economic growth. Canada made most money from immigration last year (check bloomberg). Most of these monies came from students, temporary immigrants and permanent immigrants (most notably, outland). No immigrant goes to Canada to lazy around; people might not get what they want exactly but regardless of what they are able to get, one thing is certain - taxes. It doesn't matter what experience you have, the most important thing to their economy is that you are filling the job space and in-turn becoming another source of IGR. Not to even mention the funds you go in with from your home country (money that wasn't made off their economy).

They tilted towards CEC candidates not because they are much better than the FSW candidates but because they probably would spend less time gathering their documents and also verifying such documents; most of the things they need can be gotten in Canada.

If they feel CEC holds much better value than FSW, they would have done specific draws for them in the past, don't you think? The only advantage they had over an FSW candidate is the waiver of POF, and that's because they believe many of them are already working and paying taxes.

My thoughts still do not hold waters?

you are right. But crs scores has nothing to do with anything in canada. Thats the point he was trying to make. Since cec were also qualified for the normal draws with chances of higher scores there was no need for dedicated draws. In the life no manual. Some with 350 crs that got pnp and has relevant skills may get a good job faster than a law graduate with 481 crs (at least before he passes law exams in canny)

I disagreed with your first submission because you made it seem like value creation is based on CRS score... and it's not.. anyone in the pool can add value, CRS doesn't determine who would pay more taxes, bring more money or excel better in Canada.

I wish everyone the best.

Hi guys, a ku lockdown o!

Just a feedback to the house, as a fall out of an enquiry I made in part 8.

I assisted a friend with his ECA and can confirm that WES evaluates Certificate in Insurance as equivalent to a one-year College-level certificate.

See below screenshot FYI.

I already know this certificate will work, it is quite cheap and easy. It took me 5 days to prepare for the 3 papers. The total cost is around 100k certificate included.

I will add mine after the lockdown.

You don't need the diploma. You only need to write the foundation course "Certificate in IT" . I sat the exam last month.
I registered with BNT tech tutorials anyway. You can decide to check them out. Someone on this platform referred me to them last year when I came here to ask questions about BCS.
I eagerly await my results...#fingersCrossed

Dezgate:
Hi, please I want to know if the diploma in IT is a requirement for writing the certificate in IT? Thanks

Please can you provide me with full details of the certification. How can one go about it. How frequent is the exam organized?

OND & HND = two certificates.
Additional certificate will add no points unless you have a Master's certificate.

I am a bit confused here. Do you guys mean that if i already have a Bsc degree, i won't be needing another Certificate like Bcs

Also, i intend to enrol for the Bcs certificate in IT (as it'd boost my scores). Which genuine Institution is available, coz i learnt we only have one of such institutions in Nigeria based in Plateau state. I recently contacted an Institution by the name Compunet Limited. Are they real??

Lastly, how much is the cost to acquire a certificate in Bcs. Pls anyone with good knowledge should help me out.

ND and HND are 2 degrees. If you have ND and BSC, it's still 2 degrees, if you have ND, HND, BSC,BCS, CIMA, CIPM etc, it is still 2 degrees.
Except you have a masters degree then it's a professional degree.
