Prepare for the worst on fiverr.

Nigeria's reputation for scamming has hit the roof.

If you are doing MBA in the US, this should not surprise you.

To stay in business, start advertising your business on Craigslist, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.

If you don't have a social media page for your business (whether you are a writer, web program etc.), you are not thinking about the future.

There are many ways.

Craigslist is a great place to sell or advertise your services.

Facebook is another platform you can leverage. I'm talking about Facebook ads in which you target audience in the UK, US and China.

If you are a writer or proofreader, you need to focus your marketing efforts on people in China.

Students and businesses are in dire need of cheap, copywriting/copy editing services in that country.

My gigs were on search results and on first page before then.

I wrote them that I couldn't see my gigs on search results anymore after I checked from the first page to the 20th page, my gigs were not there so I concluded that they were missing from search results. Which client goes to the last page to hire a seller?

They mailed me back that my gigs were OKAY and on search results. I applied these filters and saw my gigs - Nigeria, Level 2 or Online.

I was not satisifed so I mailed them again. After some back and forth, they were restored to first page. Though they claimed they don't have control over where gigs are positioned. Indeed, and all my 9 gigs were transferred to the last page same time.

This is strange. I've never received funds from Fiverr on my Payoneer yet I withdraw just fine.

Why not transfer from your payooneer to another's person payooneer, so the person can help you to withdraw.?

Why not transfer from your payooneer to another's person payooneer, so the person can help you to withdraw.?

Anyway, I could not transfer to another Payoneer so the hack that was done was to add another of my bank account to the recipient bank account and I made the payment and it went.

To cut the story short, my recent experience on fiverr isn't anything 'encouraging' but we have to remain steadfast.

This April, my old clients with few other new buyers came to my aid. Helping me to achieve my old dream of $1k+/month. I can't remember the last time I made $1k/month, maybe August 2019. The closes I have been to $1k is $800+/month. Things have really changed and more of this experience is expected since my gig is still in the last pages of Fiverr.

Even when I had about 7 orders in queue, nothing changed about my gig impression, position, etc. This is not supposed to be so. So to everyone experiencing this, we can only hope for the best. But we have to face the current reality, everything is changing on fiverr, and new sellers are giving better opportunities by pushing their gigs to the front page. Let's keep the hope positive.
