I must confess that the implementation of the Oronsaye Report is commendable. But it is not enough. The President should speedily direct the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission to reduce the salaries of all political office holders and appointees by 60%. Governance is a continuos process. All those posters praising Pres Jonathan, report was submitted in 2012, if it was the proper time, the recommendations contained therein would have been implemented. The truth is, many statutory agencies overlap in their duties (e.g FRSC & VIO )hence, mergers or outright scraping will save taxpayers money. There is also the believe that often times, Agencies are created to 'settle bois'.
