Hello everyone, hope everyone is staying safe and active.
I have been following this thread for a while and binge reading lately. I wanted help from anyone with regards to the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology.

Does anyone have reviews or is anyone currently studying there?

Is it too late to apply now for the fall semester in September?

In my admission application for the diploma, do i use just my Waec results and scratch card as transcripts or do i need to go back to my secondary school?

Can i apply with only my high school results?

I graduated last year with a second class(upper dv) and I'm currently in my service year to end in Nov. but i want to leave and start the diploma this year.

Please, i would appreciate any and all help. Thank you all.

PLEASE FINISH YOUR NYSC!!!!!!!!!
Apply for a course related to your bsc, Masters or PGD/PGC...don't go for a diploma cos you will be denied even with your bsc.. if u don't include that you have done your bsc, how do u explain wat u have been doing since after secondary school

GoodMorning and happy new month my people !!

I need an advice and way out....

I finish my secondary school in 2011 and also finish my Ordinary National Diploma In kwara poly in 2014 where I studied Business Administration and I Graduated with lower class, then I applied for Bsc in University Of Manitoba wanted to study business administration, which I gained the admission and put in for a student visa and got denied 3 times around 2015, 16 and 17 , and the refusal reasons then was insufficient funds in my sponsor account (My Dad).. so I decided to take jamb which I passed and graduated from a university in Benin Republic where I studied business administration and I graduated with 2.2 and I’m currently undergoing my NYSC.... with my result which school can I put in for a Master’s or what can I do next

Your contributions are needed urgently

Thanks....

You can't go for a masters with a 2.2 or it will be hard to get a masters admission with a 2.2.. pls consider going for a pgd/pgc related to your bsc.

Good day everyone, I must commend the prompt and meticulous response of people on this page. Once more well done.
To my question, I intend travelling with my family on a student visa. We are a family of 4. Myself, wife and two dependent children ( ages 6 and 3). How much money should be good for POF. It is a two year program.
I await your kind response. Thanks

Nobody can tell you an exact amount. All I say is, have enough since you are sponsoring everybody

Hello house, Happy new month. I'm new here but have read through previous threads.

I want to apply to either University of Alberta for MEng in Engineering Management or Fanshawe for Diploma in Practicals of Mechanical Engineering. I have BEng in Chemical engineering (3.96/5) and have 6 years work experience still in engineering. Kindly provide answers as much as you can to the following questions.

1. Is anybody here currently studying or had studied there at Uni of A? I want to confirm that the quoted amount on their website is for the full course, not per term or year

2. Which exam is easiest? TOEFL or IELTS Academic

I intend to sponsor myself and the goal is to get PR eventually.. Kindly provide more info to help achieve my aim, be in a reconsideration in my choice of course or school.

Thank you for responding

1) I can't say cos I don't have an answer for you boss but am sure people here might know but still stick to wat you see on the schools website

2) you don't need to write either as long as your bsc courses were taught in English and your transcript shows your courses were in English.

Hi everyone, I do hope we are all keeping safe, God will continue to watch over us and our family. I will like to appreciate as many that are rendering selfless service to make the thread a Success. God bless you all

I will like to suggest if anyone can volunteer to create a data base of those that have applied with their timeline and continue to update it daily or weekly as progress is been made on the application by IRCC. This will help especially now that part 17 thread just started.

And please let's remain hopeful especially those that got BVL.

testimonies of approval will come soon

Qudkom, thanks for the response.

Yes u are correct, actually am not purchasing it yet, I jz want to enquire about what Frankrobbn said about showing funds for FLIGHT ITINERARY in a post here sometime ago

But I would love to know if its compulsory/necessary to show the funds available for that or not.

If YES, am i going to talk about the funds available for TO & FRO flight or jz the funds for the TO (Departure Flight)

All this for the Essence of POF in SOP

Thanks

Flight itinerary should factored in the OTHERS on your financial table which should be 3kcad.

It will end in praise
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by juddytee: 5:12pm On May 01, 2020
Yes medical is compulsory, and also if you read through two or more people have gotten medical request

Qudkom:

Yes I know using a company account can be used for a visa application but it can't be solely depended on. I have also seen gcms notes making comments on the use of Company funds for sponsorship. That is why I always advice the use of company account and the personal savings account of the sponsor also. Therefore, the company account shows a proof of employment on the part of the sponsor and the savings account/fixed deposit etc shows the personal savings that's available to sponsor the applicant. Cheers and stay safe bro.

I guess we're both biting into our respective opinions and observations.

One love!

Thanks alot, Am new on this forum have been reading the threads, does my LOE has to be hand written or typed?

Also since am sponsoring myself do I need to swear affidavit?

Hello Kswrthy,

It should be typed and there won't be need for affidavit. However, you can swear an affidavit of fact or character vouching for your demeanour and obedient to laws.

All the best

Thanks for your response. Are you sure that English tests aren't required? I'm hearing this for the first time. Are you currently studying in canada?

Medical is compulsory, but i have seen two or more people who got approval last year without medical request. It surprised you right, it happened. You can believe everything in IRCC website.

All fingers are crossed.... Certainly everyone has varying chances, what works for A might not be considered for B....

Like seriously!!!
Must have been an omission especially if the course of study is longer than 6 months.

It’s well.
Approvals will come when this lockdown eases off and still more applications are not being submitted.

We shall all testify on this platform.
In Jesus Name Amen

Just remain positive smiley
