I got a call from one multinational company i interviewed with 6 days before the commencement of the lockdown to resume work on April 6. I was later told that resumption date would be communicated to me after the pandemic issue is over as the company is working from home.
I pray with the latest development of job loss & cut in salary across most sector of the economy not to affect my resumption in Jesus name.
I pray for the mercy of God in my life and that although I'm a sinner, God should grant me favour and not let my joy be converted to sorrow & disappointment.
I pray this day and with the prayers of saints and well wishers that the work God started in my life will be completed with great success and that I'll testify.
I pray that history will not repeat itself in my life in Jesus name

Please pray for me. God bless you all
Please change your profile picture, it's scary angry

Total lockdown will cause loss of job and food security
This leads to Undernutrition
Undernutrition is an immune suppression state
Then there is Vulnerability to diseases not just Corona virus but also malaria and other infections
More death occurs
The key note is
It is not about the number of cases but the number of mortalities because we all know that the majority of those infected by Covid-19 will recover

my brother don't mind them.....most of them are jobless and they don't care if the ones with job will lose the job......wearing facemask and having hand sanitizer while keeping your distance is the best approach to this pandemic.... not total lockdown

Good point but if you say not the number of cases but mortality and you keep having it spread won't you keep having fatalities?is that not what is happening in US and UK now?and those are the countries with good health structure oo

Is hunger and underdevelopment ravaging your home state of Abia not worse than Coronavirus?

Let them lockdown Abia so that they won't have kerosene to drink?
How does that concern me? What happens in abia stays in abia

The earlier you face reality and prepare for the worst the better.

No company will employ anyone this year, perhaps they may call you next year... Definitely not this year.

Yet some foolish people are saying why will FG ease the lockdown here.
South Africa has conducted over 200,000 tests in a population of 57million with roughly 2.5% positive (5k+) and 2% of the confirmed cases leading to death (103). The rate of new cases has also reduced.

Compare that to Nigeria with over 13,000 tests in a population of 200 million with roughly 16% (2k+) positive and 3.4% of the confirmed cases leading to death (68). The rate of new cases has doubled in the last one week with more than 10% of the total confirmed cases discovered in single day! Just yesterday. Furthermore a new epicenter has emerged across the country with the highest transmission rate so far.

I think you can see the situation better now to make any comparison?

My comparison is based on the justification for easing the lockdown not the transmission rate. I guess you never stayed in the North so you won't understand that despite all this even the governor's do not believe it's real.

You need to see how they perceive the president's action up North. The reality is we just have to find a way to leave with the Virus else we will die of hunger. The insincerity of an average Nigerian is another pointer to why we can't keep this up. We live...We live and We die...We die..

That boy is from Abia state. If you don't know that, you shut up your mouth.
Anyone from Abia does not not have the right to criticise others. Abians who don't have sense enough to elect a sensible leader lack the right to talk about others.

Use your head to think.

There has never been a time as now when one should fully articulate the virtues of earn money online from the comfort of your home in foreign currency. Economic growth and development world over has taken a beating, workers are summarily laid off. Governments are opening up business in the face of the covid-19 threats. This is the time to move business concerns to e-commerce. I rest my case
Great warning from great mind. Thanks
