Corona is a gift of nature to Nigeria, it has come to depopulate the North so that they won't vote in another presidiot from the North come 2023.

Anyday this country divides eeh. Sorry will be the name of northerners. See how people are dieing left and right. Its obvious that there are less qualified medical personel there. As big as they are. Yet they can't respect the south. Notice how the southerners are taking care of the situation and see how the North is doing. See eeh all the northerners in this forum, you people should be thanking us everyday. Without the south, you are finished. You are good at DOING NOTHING!! The difference is very clear..

I'm at a loss as to why death rates are high in the north.
Lagos that is the epicenter of the virus doesn't have this high amount of deaths per infection like we are seeing in Borno and Kano.
Or is it that these northern states actually have far more cases than Lagos, just that they aren't being defected (though this is very unlikely).
Some people are claiming covid-19 is politics in the north grin
It's even preferable that its fake and they keep politicizing it, than this ugly turn of events slowly playing out in the north.

This is really sad, to prevent radical increase in community transmission of the virus by some ignorant and stubborn mourners that will want to attend the burial, let the state government send security agents to ensure maximum compliance with the NCDC guidelines.
The same state govt that conceals the cause of death of vips? To the religious fanatics its only by the will of Allah one would die, not by recklessness so they are not even much bothered about taking precautions, afterall life is almost meaningless to them.

Covid 19 is defined by two things: Lifestyles and Leadership. Get is right and Covid 19 will be a walk in the park. Get it wrong and you will court disaster.

If this virus hits the main agricultural zones of Nigeria, we are inserious trouble. No doubt.

Borno currently has the highest Covid-19 fatality rate in Nigeria and something urgently needs to be done. Four red cap chiefs have died in Borno from Covid-19 including the paramount head of Bama and a handful of confirmed cases ran away without trace.

Note that all figures coming from the North are under reported due to the fatalistic culture, illiteracy and bad health system among other factors.

If Cross River commissioner or it's equivalent could come on air to warn Cross Riverian from taking bribe by admitting that they have covid, then anything is possible in Nigeria
