The continued acts of religious discrimination and Favoritism by Nairaland Mods should really be looked into.

It makes no sense to have unequal rules for different religions on this platform. The rule that requires a member of this popular social media to state that he is a Muslim before he can comment on certain posts/threads must be reassessed, especially since that is not required for posts related to other religions including Christianity, paganism, traditional religions, etc.

If such rules are made to avoid abuse of Islamic beliefs, why then allow people from other religions to insult the belief systems of Christians, traditional worshippers, etc? This is unfair and must be revisited.

The Mods must realize that other adherents equally feel bad when a none adherent mocks their beliefs; being scandalized is not the exclusive preserve of a particular set of people. Rather It is part of the nature and make up of every religious person.

A worshippers must be given equal emotional security such that only people of same faith should be allowed to criticize their own faith. Otherwise, all religious posts and/or threads should be open for any body's comments regardless of his beliefs.

Anything short of this would suggest that we are not different from the the politicians who employ religious discrimination and Favoritism to divide and cause disunity amongst Nigerians.
