Basically the US is saying Nigeria is under a dictatorship and cannot be trusted with this amount of monies. I think America should keep the monies in a Sovereign Trust fund for Nigeria because if they make the unfortunate mistake of refunding this money, it will be looted in a second.

I guarantee you if the US didn't protest to releasing these monies, Nigerian citizens would have never heard that ABACHA still had unclaimed monies abroad that are still being returned to Nigeria.

The Nigerian Satanic Political Elites are an embarrassment and they do not know that they are a laughing stock amongst their peers, they think they are being smart/discreet by buying houses in the Western Countries and hiding stolen funds in safe havens abroad, they think no one is watching what they are doing. I hope Western Governments continue to disgrace these demonic Nigerian politicians.

It's a welcomed development they know that buhari govt will use it to empower his terrorist brothers what is the use of the continuous return of abacha loot to this govt when they boldly told nigerians that they can't account for the ones they have received in the past?

Abacha and looting were like 5&6 �

Our past government has failed us and this new one is failing us mostly. What's the purpose of looting such a huge amount when you have money already that can take care of u and your family. With that money if invested in infrastructures, Nigeria will be cutting unemployment rate by 30%

Please America should use the money on other African countries that really needs it.

If this money enter naija my country they will share it among themselves seriously.

Our government has failed us woefully.

Or better still make una use am for US.

I think the money shouldn't be return, else the senile president and his northern cabals will loot that money again, thereafter, they will tag fire outbreak or snake for its disappearance. Instead it should be share as grant to us just like the proposed SEM grant, while being monitored by the US.
