What Do Jesus Mean By "No One Comes To The Father Except THROUGH Me." by Christmasdon(op): 2:38pm On May 04, 2020
Just want to know. Is it really obvious?

My knowledge:
You can't pray in the name of God, but in Jesus name.

Besides, Jesus is coming back again. For those that says they know him not, but know the Almighty God. He'll just skip those ones and go to those that know Him genuinely.

when he died for our sins and rose up on the third day, he said all power in heaven and on earth has been given unto him.
To get to the father, you have to pray through Jesus.
You can't say father in fathers name,
You can only say father in Jesus name.
That's going through Jesus onto the father.

Coming back to the Father speaks of returning to the original divine will which existed before creation and before there was a fall or any evil. This will is the source/origin(father) of all purposes and plans intended to manifest in the created realm. The purpose of creation.

The only way to this is through the Logos(Jesus), i.e. the nature/character of the Godhead. Except we adopt the divine character, we will never return to our original divine purpose.

This character was what God came to exemplify in His manifestation as Jesus Christ. The character of selfless love to the point of death.
See it this way simply: Not all that happens in this realm is the will of God. But you can make things conform to God's will first in your life by adopting the character of the Godhead.

I will try to keep it short.

The revelation of Jesus Christ being the Way to God has been grossly mis-taught and misunderstood. I also used to wonder that if this is true, why do other religions who deny Jesus as a way to God still experience God's grace and mercy. Until i studied the person of Jesus Christ.

Apostle John captured it best in the first chapter of his gospel John 1: 1-18.

John 1 King James Version (KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Jesus Christ is God's WORD! So what he meant is, "No one can have access to the Father except through God's WORD".

So when he said "no one comes unto the Father except through him", he was talking to the Jews who try to gain God's approval through their works by keeping the laws of Moses and doing the many sanctimonious activities to attain righteousness.

Apostle Paul explained it further in Romans 10: 1-17

Romans 10 King James Version (KJV)
1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from abovesmiley
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Now these scriptures, with the emphasis on the ones in bold explain to you the personality of Jesus Christ. He is the WORD of God. This WORD of God is available to all men and you don't become a Christian or Muslim when you believe God's WORD. That's religion. Religion is structured for control and not for your growth. When you believe God's WORD, you become RIGHTEOUS. The significance of calling the WORD of God by the name Jesus Christ is to establish that he was the first begotten who revealed the almighty God as a Father to the world. To further show that the name "Jesus" wasn't necessarily what we should be bent on, the scriptures then revealed this:

Philippians 2:9-11 King James Version (KJV)
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

This scripture shows that God gave Jesus an even higher name.... He didn't reveal this most powerful name so that religion or man will not have a field day with it... This is why the verse 10 said, " that 'at' the name of Jesus..." not "at the mention of the name Jesus"... every knee bows.
This means, "when anything encounter this name"... The WORD of God prevails to the glory of the God the Father.

So in short:

"No one comes unto the Father, except through his WORD". His word is in your heart and in your mouth. You don't need a religion to come to him. You just open your heart and your mouth and say "Dear Father, i recognize the authority of your WORD, reveal to me your wisdom, your power and your light".

You don't have to say the specific words i put up there. He is all knowing and understands your heart even better than you. But you must recognize his WORD to have a relationship with Him as your Father.

Your life will change for good. Sha don't start another religion when you experience his light like others did. Use that light to love, bless and help your neighbor. Shalom
