It's no longer a thing of surprise of how the Novel Coronavirus has stroked fear in the heart of everybody in the world.

Some people are not taking any chances over the virus as they are taking extreme measures to protect themselves.

A young man identified as @femitemade on twitter has revealed how he was made to wash the sum of one hundred thousand naira with bleach and detergent after he went to withdraw the money from the ATM.

According to him, his grandparents insisted that he wash thee money, which was in 500 hundred naira notes in Hypo bleach and detergent due to the fear of the coronavirus.

In his post he said;

"I WENT TO THE ATM TO WITHDRAW N100K THIS MORNING AND MY GRANDPARENTS INSISTED I WASH THE MONEY WITH HYPO BLEACH AND DETERGENT.

NIGERIANS MONEY DON DEY TIRE OO"

He shared the video to his Twitter account which he appears to have taken down.

I saw many of them madly eating bitter kola and garlic because they were told it cures Covid-19
