What are you doing to create value in your community? Why haven't you complained if you cared so much? [/b]Why must other people bring the change [b]you want? There are always volunteers needed. Seun a while ago, expressed why gambling schemes such as forex, binary options and cryptocurrencies were no longer allowed on this board.

Whether it is because we have not been vigilant enough or because we have been easily coerced, certain "super threads" on these banned topics have grown in the business section.

To be fair to all involved and to ensure that everyone is treated equally, we would need to consider locking these threads, specifically the ones below:

Personally, I respect Seun for building one of the largest information portals in Nigeria and I'm very passionate about Nigeria. If in my little way, I can help to manage the flow of information on a way that benefits honest Nigerians financially, then

If that is the case most of the mods need to do better, nairaland is currently becoming old past glory. Stale news attimes and alot of atrocities are also done here which is bringing bad face to the site.

Volunteers for e-coy that is making money? As much as I like your passion towards this, I found it rather unethical to not get paid.

At least a data allowance, how do you manage your emotions on here as a mod against frustrated people that comes on here to pour out their anger on a faceless forum?

I don't want to derail, but the fact that he makes money from the forum doesn't affect me, as I have my own source of income.

It may not make sense but the change I would like to see in our country cannot be brought about by doing things that benefit just me. This is one small way I can work towards contributing.
