That's because it's believed that there's a more equitable distribution of wealth between the Rural and urban areas in the East, while most people in South western cities are often 5 to 10 times richer than the rural dwellers

I am explaining for the third time.

Stop fooling yourselves, states, urban, rural and national were indicated

Bro I am tired of explaining myself

Ok last simple explanation

Simple illustrations

In the South East

Workers in Rural areas might earn as much 19,000 per month while workers in urban areas earn 25,000 because of the way your states are structured. Many people have strong affiliation to their villages and often invest in their villages.

Whereas in the south west, Workers might earn 25,000 in urban areas while they earn 8,000 in rural areas because people hardly want to invest in villages

Hence, the Gini would place the East ahead of South west on equitable income distribution

However very few Yorubas still live in the Rural areas anymore because of the inequality in income and social amenities. Hence, majority of the people are not living in absolute poverty.

Worry not.

NBS, the OP was specific on housing in both rural and urban areas, not cash flow. For, if that isn't the case there would be no contradiction between the former and the latter.

We all know the population plays a major role in this.

Yes
Especially Kogi because by its very nature has four ethnic groups..

You can't just have one or two main cities.

A scholar once said that poverty is not a disease but a state of mind. Most poor people either work alone, pass over opportunities, live beyond their means, bite more than they can chew like a man with no job marrying more than four wives and fathering twenty children.

Religion, ethnicity, cultural beliefs, family backgrounds too also fuels poverty.

The dude is suffering, honestly.

Logically, the recent stats can be established base on the fact that most ibos are into trading( buying and selling not a business, mind you), and we all know that Buhari's gov hasn't been a favorable one for them. That is, since the closed of the country' border most ibos traders have run out of business.

I pity that dude. He couldn't sleep overnight due to the trauma he suffered last night. grin

Na English you dey speak? Yesterday your oluwole brother published Nonsense and you celebrated it. Now the full report has been unmasked and it shows that hunger is your 'SHADOW' in SW. Why do you want to swerve the obvious fact?

Your Oluwole brother in that parastatal is as shameless like you all.

Free education by the 'Otapiapia' zombie is truly a waste.

Choi, this latest statistics really pained some people..

Nobody contested that wealth is well distributed in SE, data provided by same NBS. infact SE people have been jubilating about it.

Why is it now difficult for them to accept this latest NBS report?

Malnutrition+Poverty+Rituals+Agbero= SW

A region where touts 'MC Oluomo' are celebrated shows how Wealthy they are.

A region that received Spoilt Rice from the Government they adore....shows where the hunger resides.

A region that has states that owe salaries for 2-3yrs shows ....where the real Poverty is.

A region where youths leave their brains at home and follow politicians that share Bread!!! ...
Shows.....where the real hunger is.

No wonder they are known as Sophisticated morans!!!
