I don't really blame them most of those miscreants and okada riders don't have a place to put their head, they rent spaces from the so called agberos parading themselves as Baba nla! Truth be told it is not only in lekki even Abesan Estate Ipaja suffers from such influx of people.. fake lifes everywhere

PS: the journalist that is responsible for this news piece should be flogged! So many errors and it wasn't properly formatted!

I had to enlarge the original copy to be sure whether the error was from the letter , but the letter was free from such spelling errors.

I was at lekki yesterday, At Ikate Round About, I saw some of them begging, One guy was just begging one man to Clean his Car screen so he could get something. The man Wind up immediately.

looking at the guy from another vehicle, tears rushed out from my eyes . Then i asked myself, what if this guy is really hungry now, There is no way he will not think of robbery.

I wind down my glass, i called him, he taught i was calling the plantain seller and he called the plantain seller to my direction, then i said no, its you i am calling.

He ran with speed, i gave him what i have . He was surprise and happy.

Blogger, you should, at least, protect the man's home address (possibly his family and tenants reside in there).

You even as much published his photo (probably gotten from his WhatsApp status by one of the contending parties who leaked the story and letter to you) but left out any photo of the other parties involved in the matter.

Funny how a law firm has not address on letterhead paper as prescribed by law (Corporate Affairs Commission law stipulates every organisation's contact details must be on the letterhead) or did you cut that out to protect the law firm undecided

.

All these points show either one of the parties and/or the lawyer leaked the letter to you!

I am not a journalist but commonsense should have guided you. You bloggers need to learn the basic do's and dont's of journalism and commonsense before venturing into it for your own sake.

Something like that happened to me mid last year. I crossed the newly constructed Lagos - Ibadan Expressway close to Mountain Top University to the other side of the road, at the middle drainage way, I saw a man who was searching wastes that was dumped with foul odour, I hurriedly passed the man thinking he is a mad man and because of the stench from the odour. The Holy Spirit stopped me and drew my attention to the man that he is not mad, but result of hunger and poverty. I came back and gave him very small money out of the abundance in my pocket which I was taking out for refreshment. The man was very appreciative and happy. Tears fell from my eyes .That was when I realized people are really suffering in Nigeria. I became sad throughout the day because I failed to give him enough money which was in my pocket as directed by the Holy Spirit and thinking about how he would survive.

Big men on the roads or in estates, please, remember the poor.

Chickens come home to roost. You can't be rich and live comfortably among very poor folks. Those tall fences and luxury SUV won't protect you. Instead, use your status to influence the government to provide safety nets for the less privileged.
