Despite the pandemic that has ravaged the world the company has been working and staff have been taking the risk to come to work. We had to sleep in the plant under inhumane conditions for days initially when the lockdown was initially announced by the FG

Now that things are gradually coming back we heard a Foreigner is insisting that salaries be cut for Locals only. This is someone who earns close to $15000/month. Someone known to oppress his staff, insults,sacks and suspends them indiscriminately as if he is a mini god.

Please am calling on Nigerians to help us. Please help our families. Spread the news until relevant authorities hear it

Put this on social media anonymously, one of the news stations will pick it up. Nigeria is the only country in the world where Nigerians are oppressed by foreigners and the Government does nothing. I don't blame them if Nigerian Government defecates and urinates on Nigerians, foreigners will also do the same.

In my view, I think he earns even ten times of what the Op earns, so, for that fact that he's even still planning to cut their salaries, it is unfair
and should be annoying.

The bitter truth is, there's nothing you can do about it.

Also, the government will not intervene because they handed monopoly to his company to reap benefits.

That's not a good character of an employee you displayed.

1. This is just your part of the story. We haven't heard the other side so we can't conclude.
2. If this is a company wide decision why are you trying so much to demonize one man - even posting his personal profile? Don't you have HR? Don't you have a Union? Have you explored that?
3. What you are doing will bring dispute to your company (This is a company wide decision from the info you provided, last week we saw Asians protesting at same dangote site some where.) But if you want we can help you kill your company's reputation for you

Like some one said this is a one sided story bordering defamation. I would have agreed with your suggestion if he provided evidence that the man's pay is not being cut like a pay slip then we can crucify the Indian.

Imagine if the Indian was the OP and claimed the employee was a bad person, doesn't come to work etc. and did not provide us with evidence. Will it be right for us to go to the employees social media and recommend to dangote he is sacked without evidence. You think about it.

I am not calling for the termination of his appointment. What i care about is that if at all, then salaries ahould be slashed all across the board.

This is racism and i expect anyone to see it. Being greedy is one thing but that statement above simply means only Nigerians will have their salaries slashed, which is what bothers me. So other staff on same level won't get a pay reduction so far they are foreigners?

There have been countless reports of (some) Indians being racist so i won't put such statement past one. Sounds like something an Indian will do/say without remorse.

In cases like this, a thorough investigation is usually carried out. But how will the investigation start if the OP doesn't make it public? You think about it.

Good day all, please allow me to shed some light unto this matter. My name, for anyone who wishes to know is Ahmad Waziri, I've served under this man for 9 years. I'm among those served with a suspension, but that doesn't mean I bear any I'll will against him. As a leader, one needs to exert discipline upon subordinates when they do wrong. I did something wrong and judgment was pass on me. This same man has fought for our cause in more ways than one. I have met him on issues concerning the job and even personal life, he has always listened and assisted in the best of his capabilities. Please, don't judge a book by its cover. He may not be a Nigerian, but he acts better than one given his status and position. For me I still regard him as my boss and will stand by him all the way.

And also, he has never agitated for salary cut. Our salaries depend on how many days we work, which is monitored by the hr department. Please to all concerned, get your facts right.

This should be moved to FRONT page, we are tired of being slaves in our own country.

And guess what, u are breaking a code of conduct requirement for your company...
Rules are rules.. U probably happily signed a contract which stated ur pay package irrespective of what Mr foreigner earns and u didn't complain then.
Leave your entitlement mentality and think of how to better your life... You may end up employing the expat tomorrow... No one knows tomorrow.

Can you support all your allegation with any evidence?

I'M a staff of the organization, in same department with the accused, I can boldly said there is no any iota of truth in all your allegation.

One of the affected staff was bold enough to accept his suspension well deserved.

If management tried as much as possible to cut cost without sack of any staff and without salary cut of any local staff, why demonizing 1 member of management staff among many with malicious allegation?
