You can believe in the flying spaghetti monster for all I care...Carson didn't just stop there,he stated it as facts and offered the most pig-ignorant and irrational reasonings as the so-called factual explanation about the big-bang,Earth's age, evolution,thermodynamics and even the pyramids of Egypt.

You need to know his believe(religion etc.) is different from his research/work/studies, just because he's a scientist doesn't make it compulsory for him to believe that the earth's age is 4.54 billion or so.
There are renowned philosophers that believe in God's creation(which is the fact and true) and there are others that doesn't believe it; there are those that believe in change and there are those that doesn't believe it.
