A 25-year-old man has died of coronavirus-related complications in Lagos State.

The state’s Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, made this known via his Twitter handle on Thursday.

He said, “87 new #COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Lagos on April 29, 2020. The total number of confirmed cases in Lagos is now 947.

“The good news is that 49 additional #COVID-19 survivors have been discharged following their full recovery. The total number of discharged patients in Lagos now stands at 187.

“We regret to announce additional #COVID19 related death involving a 25-year-old male who at the time of admission was in a state of severe breathlessness. The total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Lagos is now 20.

“I again urge Lagos residents to remain committed to observing necessary precautionary measures to stop COVID-19 infection. Let’s be vigilant and report any concern about COVID-19 infection in our communities.”

However, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Wednesday announced that Lagos had recorded 21 fatalities from COVID-19.

The Old had died
The Middle aged has Died
The young has died
The babies have Died..

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

People coming on this thread to encourage themselves.. by saying the youngman had an underlying health issues...

My dear, if you get coronavirus two things... either you survive or you die... it doesn't have to be you having health problems.

Stop encouraging stupidity

Stop purposely being ignorantly stupid ....

Face reality coronavirus kills!

I think late detection of the virus would ve led to the death.

This is one of the dangers of not doing massive testing and doing selective testing.
There are people who are +ve but won't know but until it reaches it's peak that is when it would be detected.

In our usual way of taking fever as malaria/Typhoid.
If only people can just get tested at will esp when they ve the slight headache but we're still doing selective testing.

This country is cursed ah swear.

Abi jare.
No mind those useless idiots. Always looking for an excuse to shy away from reality.

That shit has the wherewithal to kill anyone that has a high load of it.

People should just try everything possible not get it. Anybody can die whether they have an underlying condition or not.

Thank you for chking up and asking.
He spent about two weeks in Police custody and we got a Human Right lawyer that helped us facilitate his' release.

We insisted we weren't going to take his' bail at the police station except if the case was taken to court. Thanks to the lawyer who helped us ensure that so he was released on bail while the case is still in Court.

The pandemic has forestalled the court process for now.

In a nutshell he's doing fine and he has continued his' biz without fear while we await the resumption of his case at the court...
