Babangida actually built the Third Mainland bridge, but I get what you're saying. I was alive (a teenager) during Abacha's time, and it wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. My own question to people on this thread is...after this man left office, the place he stole this monies from didn't suddenly stop pumping out money, what happened with the other presidents after him? Why didn't they turn Nigeria to a paradise? Maybe they looted just as much as he did, or even more. That is what we should be talking about.

I stil don't understand how such Kind of money lett the shor Nigeria without interception, Government should sufficicate all the assets of top government officials under Abacha regime, for keeping quiet and assisting their oga to steal such money.

It was during Abacha regime we started selling oil blocks. Secondly, there was some gang up against his dictatorship during his regime. Those countries rather, worked together with some Nigeria politicians to disable his administration, by blocking any money that enters our national treasury. In doing so, he decided not be pay in any revenue been generated into the country treasury, but rather pay them into several accounts with several people. But unfortunately he died, and all those money were and still scattered around the world today. Otedola elder brother was one of his anchor friends. I'm sure the source of Otedola wealth today came from it.

naso una go dey lie lie lie haba dats how ppl lied bout buhari saying he did lots of things in 1985. for your information 3rd mainland bridge was built by Julius Berger Nigeria PLC. The phase one of the project was commissioned by President Shehu Shagari in 1980 and completed by President Ibrahim Babangida in 1990.

What I mean by these is if the youth of Nigeria can team up and stage a revolution and throw out the corrupt government, that is when the greatness of Nigeria will begin.
