I have learnt something in my old age that I wish I learnt in my 20's. When starting a new business, rather than do what you love or what you know, it is far more profitable to look for what people are desperate for and then learn how to give it to them.

For example, this person decided to learn from scratch a new skill that people want - and then sell it.
