Hello autolanders I will be quick and straight to the point, I want to get a car, Lexus ES350 I really love manual transmission but I don't want to do "oversabi" please house should I go ahead and get the manual or I should just respect my self and get auto transmission like everyone else... Please what are the pros and cons of getting a manual car over an automatic car?

Personally I believe manual cars are less problematic (and cheaper)than its automatic counterparts as manual offers less complicated transmissions due to lesser dependence on electronics and sensors.
However, the issue is that it posses serious overhead on the driver. People see you as sufferhead when you're driving manual cars

sincerely i have never seen an ES350 manual before but if the price between the auto and manual isn't up to 400k then you better go for that auto besides use something that would relieve you off stress because the hold up on gidi at times is frustrating.

I love that feeling of changing gear when you want to, people are not understanding... So there is actually no issue with manual transmission apart from the opinion that its suffer head...

ES350 was never available in manual transmission, buy the Camry equivalent rather since Camry XV40 has manual transmission

Bro... Just do what pleases you. You sound like a person that loves manual. Manual are easier to maintain and they will cost you less. They might just not have a better resale value.

overhead meaning it takes a lot of energy, if you're always driving on a traffic free road, you won't see it as an issue, but use manual car as your regular car in lagos where you'll spend on the average 4 to 5hrs everyday in the traffic.
