If you are talking about active there are too many. C is still being used for Os Dev and hardware programming, COBOL is being used for mainframe systems fortran and C too are used for maintaining large super computers, Ada is used by top government institutions, MATLAB too used by mathematicians man there are many so I now understand why they ain't there. They are not even rampantly used, I wish C# was faster than C++ and had pointers, damn C++'s syntax is more scarier than COBOL (COBOL has about 600 reserved keywords) and Assembly it is so easily to lose track of what you are doing.

I remember BASIC we did not even understand why we were being forced to learn it until I decided to take a gameplay programming course on EDX the shock made me laugh.

It's okay as it is bro only C can manage to make it I hardly hear of FORTRAN and COBOL programmers they are all in NASA or credit card companies.
