If we look through the Bible from Genesis to revelation , you will see the Merciful nature of GOD Almighty..

HE is a Loving Father who loves Each and Every one of us. Infact HE is the only Good GOD.

The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin …” Exodus 34:6-7.

“But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.” Psalm 86:15.

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works.” Psalm 145:8-9.

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved) …” Ephesians 2:4-5.


The LORD is not Willing that any Soul should Perish. HE is The Merciful GOD whose Mercy endures forever.

Having known that GOD is Merciful, The Question now is Will He throw people into Hell?

First off, God sends no one to eternal fire. Anyone who goes there choose it. Case in point, you and so many of your kind here in Nairaland. When you hear the gospel, you insult the preacher. You call us fools. Infact you openly declare your rebellious stance against God.

He is telling you now that hellfire will be where you Neil end base on the choices you are making now. But, instead of taking him seriously, you insult him and called him a tyrant.


Chief Judges sentence their sons or daughters who commit murder to life imprisonment or sentence them to death as the law stipulates.
Why won't they aquit and set them free because their they are their children?

If I have a child I have a responsibility to raise that child with the consciousness of good and evil. And, I have a responsibility to show my child the consequences of his actions, so it will be the choice my child will have to make after I have taken time to teach him what it take for him to either or not burn in the fire to choose where to end.

Liveair, I wasn't being entirely sarastic.

For years I refused to accept the genuine depravity that motivates many religious people - especially in Nigeria. I still struggle to grasp just how bottomless and truly dark it actually is, but I can see it for what it is and deal with it accordingly.

They are sociopaths (look it up, Anaa09).

The almighty God remains ever Merciful, gracious, kind and long-suffering. If it were not so, non of us would be alive today, and definitely non would be able to speak so foolishly about Him.

How many of you doubters can speak so unwisely against the President of Nigeria under this democratic dispensation and go free, let alone under military regime?.

God answers to no one, He is soverign overall, the fact that you're alive to speak so ignorantly of Him time and time again tells of His mercy. No body, I repeat, no body in the entire Universe can tolerate as much as God does and still maintains his/her cool. You aught to be thankful and humble.


The truth is, God never sends people to hell, men choose to go there. He says to you don't do this and that, if you do, the danger is hell fire!, you say no, I would do it because you're a merciful God, that's absolute foolishness!. Hell fire was made for the disobedient devil and his angel, however if you choose to do what they've done despite warnings, do you then blame God if you end up there?.

God is a righteous God, at such, if any soul sins, and refuses to repent, what do you expect that God should do, should He say it doesn't matter, come into my heaven?. That will be making room for further stupid and foolish behaviour from other created things, and calling to question His righteousness.

His righteousness demands that the right thing be done, and includes that the unrepentant sinner be punished!. If the government does not punish corrupt people and jail criminals who willfully offend the law, would you respect and regard that president?. What were the accusations against former president Jonathan that warranted his being voted out?. He was accused of not being firm in punishing (fight against corruption) criminality and insecurity, does him fighting security not involve the loss of life, would you call him a wicked murderer if under his command criminals are killed?. Should God then behave like that?.

But He did give us a lifeline, after man fell by the deception of Satan in the garden of Eden, He gave us another chance which no other spirit enjoys, why?. He loves us!. If he is interested in putting man in hell, why will he do that, die on the cross and continues to plead with man to be saved.

Therefore, let us not play with fire and be ignorantly deceived by the fallen Satan in assuming that because God is a merciful God, man won't be thrown into the fire. He is a merciful God, he also retains his nature of a consuming fire. If there's anything I've known about God, it's the fact that sin cannot live in His Holy Presence which carries fire.

Repent to avoid that fire that the only way out. There should be no gambling about it.

If you claim to be the first and the last, knowing the beginning from the end and the end from the beginning, why create the devil who would cause so much pain as to even take people to hell? Besides don't people make mistakes?? If I claim to love my child, I wouldn't send him to hell of everlasting torment. After all, with God "ALL" things are possible. Hellfire and all can be reversed you know? Why isn't it being reversed and then love shown? A boy given birth in an Hindu home is a candidate of hell according to your God. Did he create himself?
