Hello auto gurus and lovers, I came across this Suzuki vitara 2006 on jiji and fell in love with its body and interior. Also I noticed it's affordable and I have checked through for other suzuki jeeps and I love them. Please anyone with either good or bad experience with the vehicle before I commit my heart and money on it. Please I haven't bought any personal car and this will be the first.
I need your counsel please and on other suzuki models.
Thanks

Pls avoid matters that touch later. Most of these vehicles depreciates like 30% of purchase cost when reselling. Kindly go for a regular like Toyota or Mercedes Benz to have rest of mind especially being a first timer. GOD BLESS US ALL!!

As a person with as low as 5 years experience with driving 3 different second hand cars, I'll tell you the honest truth. YOU ARE ABOUT TO COMMIT YOUR HEART AND MONEY INTO SOMETHING YOU WILL REGRET.

It's plain and simple.

No one has given Op a concrete reason why he shouldn’t buy the car, you didn’t even consider his explanation on his financial strength, you just ran straight to no.

Guy, buy the car if you want to. It’ll serve you for a couple of years before you upgrade vehicles then you can give this one out at giveaway

Some years back the main issue with Suzuki was parts availability, I don't know if parts are available now, though I've been seeing some mini Suzuki buses and I believe the parts of the grand Vitara also could be available. Confirm first.

I wouldn’t recommend this as your first vehicle.

It can serve as a backup vehicle.

You ride that car out,it will ride you back home.

No matter how that car is love vendored, its a born heart breaker.

No matter how much you save on fuel being an i4,you will end up spending 40% on mechanics, 40% on rewires and 20% on those area boys who will help you push it to the roadside.

Lastly...

Follow your heart.

Suzuki is a great brand Check for the parts availability first, and reselling price

Cheers!

The Suzuki Vitara is a compact SUV produced by Suzuki in four generations since 1988. The second and third generation models were known as the Suzuki Grand Vitara, with the fourth and current series eschewing the "Grand" prefix. In Japan and a number of other markets, all generations have used the name Suzuki Escudo.
But please do ur investigation about available and affordable of parts in Nigeria. Peace

Suzuki makes reliable cars. I got one for my BIL and he used it for 6years and gave it out when he bought another car. All he did was basic service and replace worn parts, due to age.
Just ensure you do your due diligence so you don't buy a lemon

Not for a first timer! Like you rightly know, anybody who doesn't have an idea about how an average car works, and doesn't have a huuuuuge war chest of the financial kind has no business with any used Mercedes.
