If anybody can extract the graphs, pls help to post them.Thanks.

I specifically think SW leaders should come together and declare an emergency in Education.

But SW still leads in education and I learnt that Yorubas have the highest number of students studying abroad.

I always envy South West for one thing. Education. They so much believe in it, passionate about it and their parents suffer for their children to go to school.

That's why South south should emulate South West in its education policy.

Education is the key to the future. Future is bright!

Type of education matters, we need technical schools with updated equipments, we need research labs all tailored to solve Nigeria's peculiar issues.

That is not totally true but partially.
Our leaders have gone selfish, fighting for their pockets only.Education builds a nation. There is this lackadaisical attitude towards education in Nigeria that one begins to get frightened.

Although, Yoruba still lead in Education at home and abroad.

Only the Yoruba geniuses can represent Africa.
No shikini Igbo.

The southwest have since fallen in education in Nigeria, the south west are doing their region a disservice by schooling abroad and remaining abroad, the present local southwesterners are dregs. Those ones abroad should start coming back and working on their region

I hope you are not referencing Yemi Bureau of Statistics here.

You guys keep deceiving yourselves with data while realities say otherwise.

I am always shocked to see the number of yorubas in Lagos who struggle with basic English.

Are you saying that Yorubas who have the best doctors, best lawyers, best scientists etc should come to the low pedestal of Igbos who are down in the gutter of education?

These are some of the educational laurels of the Yorubas which Igbos can only dream of because of their dullness:

1.Yorubas are the only ones who have the first Nobel Laureate in literature in Africa.

Igbos are still in the gutter.

2.Yorubas have about 6 youngest PhD holders in the world.

Igbos are still in the gutter of education.

3.Yorubas have about 7 geniuses who have the perfect scores of 5.0 cgp.

Igbos are still in the gutter.

The list goes on while the Igbos are down there in the gutter of education.

These are the only laurels of the Igbos.....WAEC,JAMB FRAUDS grin

Serving in yorubaland opened my eyes, I went there thinking they were the best in education as they claim.
In yorubaland you'll see 20 year olds who can't muster a word in English. Not even pidgin English.

Oyo and Osun state continue to massively fail WAEC and JAMB. Struggling for the totem pole with northern states year after year. In yorubaland you flog a JSS3 student, he'll waylay the teacher along bush path after school hours and beat up the teacher, if the said teacher is a woman, they'll rape her. Most SSS students are already cultists. Nothing dey their head.

yoruba need to sit up and tell themselves the truth, propaganda has never gotten anybody very far.

I don't take solace in the malfunctioning of others (Igbos). Education is good, but we are yet to start reaping the true dividends of Education.

Meanwhile, the Igbos are doing just fine in their own chosen fields of life. Mind you, we Yorubas too have multiple negatives that must be fixed if we are to enjoy our harvests.

One of our negatives as Yorubas is well concocted in your reply, mocking the ineptitudes of others.

Yes,every tribe or everyone has their negative and positive sides but Igbos are just too toxic and as things are if they do not stop their toxicity, we would continue to do this.
