The People Democratic party PDP, Femi Fani-Kayode and Former President of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Chief Onueze Okocha (SAN) has backed the Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike Overs  demolition of Hotels.

The Riverss state Government head by Nyesom WIke have on Sunday Demolised two Hotels, Prodest and Etemeteh.

PDP maintained that Wike was leading the war against the spread of COVID-19 from the front.

National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, while insisting that Wike was determined to protect his people, questioned the whereabouts of President Muhammadu Buhari.

While Fani Kayode in a tweet said  he was utterly amazed by Wike’s action not to close down the hotels and arrest the culprits but instead he KNOCKED them both down? “I am utterly amazed!”

Meanwhile the Former President of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Chief Onueze Okocha (SAN) has defended the actions of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, including his recent demolition of two hotels in the state, saying the governor acted appropriately.
Okocha advised persons uncomfortable with the Executive Orders which the governor relied on to pull down the two hotels, to approach the courts.

Speaking in Port Harcourt, Okocha lauded the steps taken by the governor to fight coronavirus insisting they were designed to check the spread of the ,,,,
