Every smartphone can update over OTA if you do it right.It's not 2010 technology has advanced. My Redmi Note 7 updated from Android 9 to 10 successfully and from MIUI 10 to 11 successfully.

Talk with facts bro! If u ain't using the phone, there's no need to discourage others from updating, I use this device, I did my two days ago, and it's super cool, no glitch or lag. Its stable as well.

Though their previous roll out of android 10 was buggy, but they've listened to complains and made corrections, which I must say is outstanding. Xiaomi phones are cool budget phones to use. Way better than Infinix, tecno or itel, quote me anywhere.

Am sure if there are issues with latest update, they will fix it. Someone mentioned the fingerprint sensor is no as responsive as before? Did you notice anything like that from your experience?

I am beginning to hate my Xiaomi phone for one reason.. It doesn't tolerate hot weather. Just at 98+ °F it will trip off the network.. I have to place it on the air vent of my car to get my network back... My infinix never did that.. and I bought it here at Ikeja oh. So it's a global ROM.
