BREAKING!!!

IMMEDIATE SHUT DOWN OF LIVESTOCK MARKET IN AKWA IBOM STATE

I have been directed by HE the Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel to announce the immediate shutdown of all livestock markets in state for the rest of May 2020.

By this announcement, no new consignment of livestock - goats, cows and rams, will be allowed into the state until further notice. Livestock sellers are advised to sell off their stock and proceed to shutdown.

Security agencies have been directed to monitor and ensure full compliance. Defaulters will be prosecuted.

You sound bitter but any ways the have other native livestock and the Mexico cow that was imported ok.

Akwa ibom state have local goats and fowl and I have seen private ranch in akwa ibom state before....

What ever that needs to be done needs to be done to prevent the spread of the virus and what ever is killing people in Kano state....

If the massive dead was happening in the south.....Ofcoz you know that, the entire north would've been on total lockdown and probably return the Southerners in the north back home..

So, idiz what idiz!!

This is not about banning livestock. This is about driving the northerners/fulanis in Forest and almajiris out of the state
