That broker is giving out price money to the best traders on a 10,000 demo account. Currently the top 20 have about 6 Nigerians and it's a worldwide competition. As at yesternight those in the top 10 had tripled their accounts. And some had also blown it.

Dont compare what someone is trading on a demo to a real account. 99% of those guys will blow a real account if given the funds. Hantec is just using that competition to market their products they wont hire the winner or recommend any of them. There is no emotion in demo trading. I can decide to take a lot size of 10 on a $10000 something someone trading with his real funds wont try.

Yea bro you are right as regards how real trading will be. But if you study the rules of he competition hantec tried to make it as real as possible e.g. once you have less than 40% equity you are automatically disqualified. There are quite a number of other rules to prevent using crazy lot sizes. So it's as close to real as can be though not totally. Lots of them who doubles their account within hours have been dropped and they didn't even have to completely blow their accounts. The rules are very stringent.

So you are investing your hard earned money and can't do basic analysis. No wonder a fool and his money are soon parted.

Isn't this a pointer to the fact that this is pure gambling.? Make 6 months ROi in a single trade? They gave you the coolaid story. Let's do the maths. You invest 4milliom.and the return is 600k per month for 6 months. That's 3.6million naira in 6months.


4million is approximately $12k. To nake 12k dollars in a single trade would mean that the trade moved an average of 120pips and the Lot size was 10 large lots. Go check the trends , except for cases of extreme volatility. No single trend goes in a direction for more than 200 to 250pips even with those there would be crazy swings, swaps and reversals that would make such trades a whole lot unprofitable


If you make a 10.0 lot trade on a $12k account. You would be using a minimum leverage of about 1:1000.

If you knew anything about Fx you would understand that this isn't just overleveraging. This is pure gambling and I can bet you 100% that 60% of the times you overleverage you would end with a loss. Money management skills is out of the window and you would get margin calls soon.

40% of $240 is $96 which is roughly 36k. So the guys makes an average of 70k per month.

Inside this 70k please how much does he spend on Fueling his Gen on a daily basis? I am sure with how epileptic NEPA is he would be spending N500 average over 20days. That's 10k.

He needs to be connected to high speed networks and have at least 5gb data and at least a backup network because you don't want to be in the middle of a trade and lose network connection. That's another 10k to the cost.

That's 20k just on some basic things.

So he takes roughly 50k home monthly. And that's on a good month. What happens on a not too good month because that's natural in FX and it's certain you would have such? Does your "friend" have another source of income or partial work he does?

Care to share us a screenshot of your trading history for this account the last 3 months? I know you would be using mt4 or 5 . You actually don't need to share the individual trades just take a snip of the summary of accounts for the period at the bottom and share with please. Be careful to blank out names and number.
