A High court in Port Harcourt has sentenced Ifeanyi Dike who killed an 8year old girl Chikamso victory in Port Harcourt in 2017 to death by hanging.

His accomplice will equally die by hanging.

A one year jail term will be served by the dismissed Police Sergeant, Jonhbosco Okoronze under whose watch Ifeanyi Dike initially escaped from custody at the Police Criminal Investigation Department before he was re-arrested in Jos.

The judgement was delivered by Justice Adolphus Enebeli today.

Who’s to say he’s not going to a land of paradise after death? Knowing he is in prison for a crime committed with his bare hands is the best punishment for him. The realization that he will never get out of there for his remaining life hits even harder. Psychologists have recognized this for a while and developed countries implement it. Left to me I see the quick death penalty as trashing out a bad human, not trying to understand why he did it so we can prevent similar cases in future.

That is Crude and Cruel of the Judges....

He only killed somebody.....It shouldnt be a yardstick for the judges to Sentence him by Hanging....

Death by hanging is actually a good judgement. This man has no business being among the living and moreover in life imprisonment, the government have to feed and cloth him till the day he dies. This man does not deserve such expenses
