Help! UBA Nigeria and customer defrauded me this 12/05. I used this popular online selling app "JIJI" looking for a new phone Note10+. I transferred 270,000N from my Zenith account to seller UBA during delivery and delivery agent run away with the phone. NOT PAID THROUGH THE APP... Directly I called the seller and he said that he didn't receive the money but will tell the delivery agent to come back with the phone. This was 12th of May around 5:40PM. Today 13th of May, he called me at 11:00AM after my Zenith account manager called him to complaint that they will follow his BVN. He argued saying that he was struggling to get the money from his bank because he gave the wrong account. That the account he gave can only receive 50,000N per transaction. Then said it's fine and will immediately send the delivery agent. Till now he is not picking calls, blocked me on Whatsapp. Attached the JIJI conversation, WhatsApp profile of the person and debit confirmation. The fake seller info: Nurudeen malik, 2148824557 , UBA bank Phone number: 07040464008 Need help to get my money back please

Jiji, olx when it was still available are full of scammers who sell NOTHING and waiting for the next mugu to fall. |

Op, the fault is urs. How can u pay online such amt 4 a product u have not seen goes to say that you're still in d dark and not yet exposed. U have been scammed. Unless UBA gets hold of the a/c holder, ur money is gone. |

I didn't pay through Jiji app. The delivery came with the phone and I made the payment. The problem is that the person to who I made the payment was not the phone dealer. So I ordered from him and he ordered the phone as he was me. Then during the delivery I transfered the cash and he was saying didn't receive anything. When trying to sort it out on call, the delivery agent ran away! |

Toma2:The guy that posted on JIJI. He sent me the account details and phone number of the delivery agent. The phone dealer called me yesterday, saying that he took my number from the delivery agent. Explaining that the guy contact him saying that he will send his brother during the delivery to collect the phone. So he was confused after waiting for 30min and ask to the delivery agent to go, that the situation wasn't clear. He sent me the screenshot of the WhatsApp chat with the guy. He gave my name, and address as he was me ordering the phone while I ordered from him |
