HitlerGaddafi: Bro, that is not an opinion. He was just being too negative about the Nigeria millitary right from the beginning. I have came across people with contrary opinion in this forum but they are not like this. If I am one of the agent of NIA, I would have investigation on this guy. He could easily be used as a spy if he is working in the military. My another take is that he is mentally unstable, he shouldn't be allowed to be moving around where normal people stays 4 Likes |

shadowprimezero: Your question should be, what on earth is the Mozambican government doing? SADC works this way: the affected country evokes the mutual assistance protocol. Mozambique's government, for whatever reason, hasn't done so. They first denied the seriousness of the issue; then employed Russian PMC Wagner, who got their arses handed to them; and now have employed Zimbabwean/RSA PMC Dyck Advisory Group. 2 Likes |

Nigeria is due to receive this LST from Damen shipyards UAE in 2022. On 9th December Damen Shipyards Sharjah in the UAE held a keel-laying ceremony for a landing craft for the Nigerian Navy, an LST 100. The start of the vessel’s construction was attended by Nigeria’s Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas. Damen has designed the LST 100 for a range of duties including amphibious operations, strategic transport of equipment and troops, disaster relief, evacuation operations and humanitarian assistance. https://www.damen.com/en/news/2020/02/damen_holds_keel_laying_ceremony_for_nigerian_navy_landing_craft 5 Likes

I stumbled upon the thread barely 5days ago and I've been following it judiciously ever since and yes, I'm a hugeee fan of big guns and military equipment.. if Nigeria was liberal towards guns, I think by now I would have had a personal stockpile of light and heavy equipments. I really love what you do here.. don't stop please. 4 Likes |

Construction projects in Iraq have to start somewhere, and they often start with a stealth mission by the Seabees Engineering Reconnaissance Team, or SERT, the tip of the Seabee spear.https://www.stripes.com/news/seabees-keep-low-profile-scouting-out-projects-in-iraq-1.21207 Coming to a battlefield soon the SERT! 1 Like

With each iteration of the Seaward Defence Boat produced in Nigeria, we can see considerable defence improvements and sea keeping abilities. SDB 1 is more of a littoral vessel. SDB 2 looks more seagoing and can handle significant days at sea, is larger and has more armament. SDB 3 defiantly looks sea going. Would be able to handle the west-african ocean, looks faster and is more heavily armed. |
