Example 1 (5-2) + (4-3) = 4 Example 2 (2-1) + (4-3) = 2 Question 17 (8-3) + (7-5) = 7 Question 18 (9-2) + (10-a) = 16 7 +10 - a = 16 a = 17-16 = 1 Question 19 (2-5) + (x-7) = 11 3+ x-7 = 11 x = 15 Question 20 (B-12) + (3-4) = 12 B- 12 - 1= 12 B = 12+ 13 = 25 |

(5+4) -(3+2) =4 which is in the middle |

For the example Let 4' & 2' represent the 4 and 2 in the middle respectively. We have that 4'*3+4'*2=12+8=20 5*4=20 And 2'*3+2'*1=6+2=8 4*2=8. |
