Nigeria govt should do enough test, so we don't get cases everyday again, if it continues like this , we will be having cases everyday till 2021..we are over 200 million , we cant be doing less than 2000 tests per day ..

I'm not a pessimist but the sharp decline in the number of cases Lagos is recording daily is a wonder.

Why is the testing slow?I have a feeling the cases are undereported and Nigeria does not have accurate statistics

For 2 months now we are still struggling to do up to 35k test in a country of over 190 million peoplw.
Whereas small countries in terms of population have been able to test over a 100k people.

Nawa nor be chinese city of wuhan wey corona for start na him wan test 11million people within days. And in two months we are yet to conduct up to 35k test.
Our health system is nothing to write home about

When your country is not doing enough testing you can't be too sure. And those persons that believe that you can't blame them because that is the normal ripple effect it is happening in South Korea and China right now.
So you cannot blame them for that a second wave happens when you let your guard down.

Until Nigeria does efficient testing you cannot say for sure that the cases are reducing.

This is not about competition but about being efficient and we are not. What helps a lot of countries in tackling this virus is efficient testing so that they will know the cases they are dealing with but in naija the cases are being undereported thereby undermining any progress we think we are making because the slowly we act the more the thing spreads and containing it might be difficult
The health system in this country is terrible
